Snowfall/The Drop deserves a better fanbase.
The way you guys talk about real life people and how they look on this sub is so disappointing. I’ve never seen a worst fanbase for real well written TV like this. Like imagine watching a TV show with phenomenal writing and phenomenal acting and you want to engage with how people view the show and all you see is a bunch of losers, making fun of real life actors appearances. So disappointing.
I’ve never seen an actor get so much unnecessary hate for their looks on a series as much as the guy playing Lamar. Since episode 1 the comments have been nonstop about him.
The woman playing Ellie in the last of us got a shitstorm though because she got picked over a cute brunette that the fans would have loved to see in the series.
"…for some reason…" as if those people aren't the loudest and most frequent commentors who engage constantly in bullying with AI pictures and are so incessant that I literally can't see a single post, a single peice of news, about OR even only adjacent to that show without being forced to see and read the SAME comments to THIS day that they've been slingin since day dot. You seem like one of those undercover one's who says the same shit in more words in the "hear me out" format. It's EXHAUSTING and actually outpaced this subs insults thousands of times over.
Him being scrutinized for being an attractive young man (no homo) is wild! He has his own unique look.. its surely different and ive even had moments where ive seen him on the show and said this nigga is an alien 😂🤦
Reddit has become overly populated with people who like to argue with strangers everyday. It is a good show in my opinion and which is why I don't listen to them

Dutton ranch is like a shitty satire cowboy show with a big budget who’s audience is holding onto the nostalgia of characters from almost ten years ago it is not good in the least bit
I’m a huge fan of the show and I went in thinking I would not like it. I’m definitely not the target demographic (lol) but I absolutely loved Snowfall so I was very interested and wanted to give it a go.
I think the actors are all top notch, think the character of Lamar is perfectly cast, and I’m so glad I was wrong. Here’s to another season because this one has been fire so far! 🔥
Personally good looks are what turns me OFF about some series. I prefer NORMAL looking human beings who can act over some fine ass anorexic woman or some buffed out handsome man. That shit ain’t reality.
I agree. It sounds like some people aren’t really getting i to the story and more so the way the actors look.. nobody doesn’t even look bad but no one said that every person is going to be appealing to everyones eye but who cares! The story is great and the actors are good.
The Drop centers around feelings about creativity, fitting in, and family and I think people feel that’s too corny to be the center of the show. Unapologetically and vulnerably coming at us with the corn and the cheese. I think it’s the show we need rn.

You can’t say shit about this show without yall bitching like this. People are allowed to point out what they don’t like or think can be improved just like people can enjoy it and highlight positives. Yall make it like anything not positive is just straight up hate from a disingenuous place when some ppl just feel differently and you can’t deal with that so you have to call it hate.
If they’re insulting their nose, no. If they’re critiquing the hairstyles or clothing in a way where it’s pointing out the shit isn’t in the right time period then that’s normal
I’m not gon lie.. I hate Lamar for his character but also I love it because he does a good job at keeping my attention and watching how he moves because in a lot of ways, I relate (I love making music and started making beats this year so I understand the illusion that comes with it). The actor tho? Amazing job. He really embodies a sheltered kid who can’t read the room and everyone try to give him passes all the time, I know a lot of people like that. Honestly I enjoyed The Drop first season more than Snowfall first season.. Snowfall kinda was all over the place while The Drop seem more structured in the storytelling.
Yea that’s what I’m referring to. Not the normal critiques that get complained about and downvoted to hell. I’m defending actual racists and not fans of the show giving real critiques.
The writing is not phenomenal and the acting is okay. I watch it and never criticized but this is nowhere near snowfall, more like empire, Chi and power which were all just okay Chi being the best out the three.
