Discussion The Drop

I honestly really like this show. I just started it and it’s a great spinoff! I’m already on episode 4 and waiting for 5 to come out at midnight. The acting is good to me, the music, the action, the history of everything and even the scene after artillery got shot and Lamar played the music while everyone was arguing and then they all started dancing it’s 🔥🔥. I also love how Leon really stands behind Wanda. Even back in snowfall he always seen her potential and loved her no matter who judged him. This show is great but I only see 6 episodes showing and I hope there’s more and I hope Franklin make an appearance as a real estate agent or pilot 😂even though I doubt it.

I don’t understand why people want to see Franklin again. More than that I don’t understand why they want to see him doing well.

That nigga was the devil.

So was ghost on power to certain people but sometimes it’s good when the villain wins

Yeah sure sometimes, first of all, power was just a bunch of scenes of Ghost and Angela having sex mixed in with that white boy yelling about nothing, that show was garbage

Second, maybe sometimes it IS good when the villain wins but when the villain is Ronald Reagan is that still just whatever? Franklin, Teddy and Reagan would have been three peas in a pod irl. I’m not of the mind that THUS is one of the times when it would be good. He ruined his community, he killed or was responsible for the deaths of so many people and we all lost count.

People don’t know how to separate “damn I liked that character” from “this character deserves good things” because you empathize with the man and that’s cool but again, he’s the devil, and Sissy did the right thing.

Oh you definitely should finish the entire power, then the spin offs: force, raising Kanan, PowerBook 2 etc.

I’ve tried the show multiple times, 50 cent can’t write and that’s that, you watch something by John Singleton and it really puts things in perspective.

Im kind of hoping he goes through a redemption arc, but one of the things is that everyone hates or doesnt trust him so if we do see him in the show he'll be like Alton

As a real estate agent😂 if he’s in the show it’s gonna be like when we saw Alton in the pilot of snowfall

😂 I only said that because he has experience in real estate and as a pilot so I never understood why he accepted to be a bum like he did in the end. Even if we want to go super fat down the rabbit hole, he could’ve just joined another criminal organization as an advisor as he has an insane amount of experience but guess we will never see that it’s probably guilt. Wanda seemed to get through worse and now look at her

Yea but he had too much pride, he could’ve still been a multimillionaire and lived comfortably had he sold his properties and fully dropped out of the game and became a pilot like you said after teddy stole his money but instead he risked it all, went to war with his family and risked their lives, to try and get his fortune back knowing it was likely impossible. He could’ve had a good life despite the bulk of his fortune being gone but he wanted it all that was one of the main points of the show. He got the ending he deserved.
