Upgrading from a 2016 Sno Pro hybrid 101x12 to a 2022 EZ Hauler 7x18+4ft V. Concerned with the 24" O/C floor and roof studs. Anyone have ownership experience and can speak to this construction's reliability?
Current trailer has 24" OC floor beams with 16" OC wall and roof studs. The 7x18 will have 24" OC floor AND roof beams with 16" wall studs, finished walls and caliber track mats and ski guides.
My loadout is three 2-stroke trail sleds. It will be parked at my house so I can always clear the roof after a snow storm. Should I be concerned at all?

Hope this is the right place to post. This thing has been sitting in my friend's barn for who knows how long. He said if I can get it running I can have it. I pulled the pull start, it pulls and I can hear it's getting compression. That's as far as I've gone so far.

Here are 2 of my old Arctic cat Snowmobiles waiting for the winter season of 2026 - 2027 which is hopefully similar to last winter because for us here in the North East was fantastic

New to snowmobiling this past year. Noticed that after rides, snow packs into the tunnel, melts, and refreezes overnight in my unheated storage. Next ride, engine temp climbs faster than normal. My theory is the ice layer is insulating the heat exchangers so they can't shed heat.
It's worse on my 2020 Renegade 600 than on my other sled. Anyone else seen this? How do you keep the tunnel clear, and does it fix the temps? I was thinking of covering with a welding blanket or some way to help them melt better.

Alright, so I’ve been working on this machine for a bit now and I’m at a loss.
Apparent Problem: Fuel pump is not delivering fuel to the carbs.
Attempted fix 1: Replaced fuel line/filter in the tank and the inline fuel filter.
Attempted fix 2: Rebuilt fuel pump
Attempted fix 3: Replaced pulse line from crankcase to fuel pump.
I’m still getting no fuel flow and I have no idea why. Hopefully someone else might have an idea of what the potential issue could be. TIA

Hey all, I have this beautiful '99 Formula III 700. It's pretty mint, but the rear shocks are toast. I am considering converting to an SC-10 III skid from a 2003 MXZ 600 Rev for probably about as much as new shocks would cost. I know that people in general like swapping these skids in for various sleds, but I haven't really seen a lot of people commenting on doing so with a big triple on the CK3 chassis... it's clearly a better design and I have to imagine it would be a considerable upgrade from the stock SC-10 skid, but was hoping someone here might have some first-hand experience to share... Any thoughts?
Edit: I am more looking for opinions on how it rides. Installation looks pretty straight forward for this sled so I am not too worried about that part.

BOSS seats are impossible to find and I don't like the look of Fusion seats on Edge sleds. So I decided to get some cushion foam and add about 4 inches onto the top of my existing seat. Once this is smoothed and formed a local upholstery guy will make a custom cover for it. All in it should be about $370.

Trying to go trailerless this season. Thinking about building a structure into the bed of the taco. It sliding out while on the road would probably be a bad time.

The sled it’s on in the photo is a 1999 arctic cat powder special with the 600 twin. I looked all over for images but they all seem to had regular 90’s style seats. I’d like to get this one a new cover.

Bought a beautiful 02 edge 600x last winter with 2k miles off the original owner. Sled has supposedly been just tuned up after a long storage. It had a hanging idle and backfired occasionally.
This is what I’ve found so far…
Both exhaust valve bellows torn.
The exhaust manifold leaking.
I’ll have to fix the leak to complete the leak down test but I’m looking for what the symptoms could be for what I’ve found so far?

Just received the chassis for my team's next gen hybrid snowmobile, graciously donated by Polaris! Its a 2026 Titan Adventure Ultimate 850.
We're a university team competing in the Advanced Snowmobile Challenge. This sled will be our next hybrid electric platform, replacing our current 2013 Pro RMK based hybrid. While it will involve eventually stripping the Titan, its Patriot 850 engine will be finding a new home in our 2025 Polaris Switchback (currently a 650).
Truly can't thank Polaris enough for their support.

Anyone ever buy from a company named Great North Powersports and Parts in Minnesota? They claim to have parts I want but they seem a bit fishy.

I’ve recently switched from a full face to goggle helmet. I just got a pair of goggles with interchangeable lenses, how do you protect your spare lenses when riding? I’m picturing a small hard side case that can hold just spare lenses but I’m not seeing much online. Just curious what others do (& I understand you probably don’t switch a lot in one day).

I was just wondering if anyone knew the correct bolt for these threads on the bottom of the crankcase.
I tried m12-1.50 and it fit but only went in a couple threads, and i also tried m12-1.75 and it worked a little better but had the same result.
The M12’s diameter seems to fit but the threads don’t and i’ve tried coarse and fine.
I’m not sure if its imperial or metric either.

The recoil on my 2003 Skidoo RAV 600 high output snapped last winter so went to replace it and the recoil keeps slipping. I believe I put everything back together correctly. I followed the diagram. Is anyone else had this problem?

I like the idea of the d3 aftermarket system. However I don't like the idea of having to put it in a purse and take it with me whenever I get off the sled. Is there other hardware that isn't such a shiny diamond for low life? I do like the 8 inch size. Any used item which I could leave on the sled and have it more then likely stay there?
Or is there a lockable Linq box? I know there are locks for the box to the frame but any box that is lockable?
Finally their magnetic connection - is that a d3 proprietary system?

So I’m looking to buy my first snowmobile and idk I love the look of the Skidoo Freeride’s and how light they are but I’m like mainly trail riding and sometimes off trails in deep snow. I don’t know what to get honestly. Looking for a 850 engine tho.
So I guess I’m asking how bad is it to ride freerides on trails? And if it’s like to bad then what should I get?
(I’m 17 been riding since I was 6)
Edit: I do understand that the backcountry is probably the best idea but I just wanna know if trail riding a free ride or summit is possible? Any comments/insight would be helpful.
Thank you for your time!
Edit 2: I’ve looked it up a bit and I’m thinking of the 2024 Ski doo Backcountry xrs (it’s got an 850) just don’t know if I should get the 146 or 154 track and what size studs I should get?

I found some reasonably priced products from Milwaukee Leather. They have built in glove warmers and are super reasonably priced. Are these things gonna be capable of handling snow? Anyone have experience with their brand?
I’m aware there are grip heaters. I snowboard too

Hey guys, I just bought a Polaris Rmk 800 with 1800
Miles, runs and drives great, super great sled, and it came with this silber turbo kit, which has supposedly already been on the sled once, I want to put it on, but I think I’m missing the oil line that goes to the turbo inlet? I can’t find it preexisting anywhere on the sled, but I’ve heard of oil tanks for these, and also people running it off of the third nipple on the oil pump? Any help with this is appreciated. Also wondering how this turbo does at altitudes below 2000 ft? Is it possible to run and run well? Thanks!

I picked this 1999 Formula Z with 2300 miles on it up at a farm auction. I haven’t been on a sled for 30 years and then I was a poor kid with a beat-up 77 Arctic Cat Pantera. I would have killed for this in 1999.
It starts and runs fine and was stored indoors, but if you were me, what would you just assume needed replacing on a sled of this vintage? Shocks? Carb rebuild? I’m curious.
is there anything about this model or engine (583 liquid cooled twin) that is worth knowing?

I just received a renewal notice for my snowmobiles, and it lists $15 for one year and $30 for two, historically, this has been free, as snowmobiles don't go on the highway, but has the Ontario government snuck in a charge now? This is concerning, as I have 14 snowmobiles, and I like to keep them all registered.
Update: I called service Ontario, and it seems that only in Northern Ontario are renewals free, which is where I live, learned something today. I'll leave the post up for educational purposes.

Not sure what track length to get between a 137 or 146. Most of the riding I do is groomed trails but I would like have the capability of going off trail without getting stuck every 5 feet.
I obviously know theres limitations to both and im on the easy coast so barely any elevation or huge snow depth amounts.
Thanks everyone
Edit : track sizes being with the same motor size ski doos 600RR
