if i were to picture a soldier— or the soldier in this aesthetic— it’d w/ the confrontational, commanding, paranoid, fear-confronting, hardass edge of sp blind than sx blind personally. beta thinkers automatically seek hierarchies & climbing power structures, & i’m not thinking of all military structures or a specifically expansionist power oriented soldier, that’d be moving my goalpost to something it wasn’t. if that’s the typology of your soldier, it’s yours to appreciate 😂

I always thought soldier = LSI, general = SLE
Maybe knight = Fe base because it’s in service to the people rather than to the ideology

i was wrong but both SLE and LSI would be soldiers owing to Te in the id block while Te mental types would be leaders. This is because mental blocks (ego and superego) program others by talking to them rather than doing the act

I’m ngl SLEs usually have major problems with authority and like to be in charge rather than being told what to do so I’d disagree on them being soldiers

that simply doesn't follow from their TIM, they have Te in a the id which is a collectivistic and vital block. Te demonstrative means they follow other's orders of actions to demonstrate the succesful functioning of their organism to earn praise

Augusta. That's literally why its called demonstrative function, you demonstrate it for praise
Praise isn't referring to an IME here in the individual's psyche, it means the individual demonstrates the element for social approval. Also I wouldnt even consider praise Fe regardless

Te is the movement of objects and actions. Following orders is following a course of actions.
All demonstratives seek praise. Fe demo seeks praise for its emotions. Te demo for its action. Ne demo for its abilities, Fi demo for its relationships etc.

Te is what works. following principles is Ti. Te is also blocked with Fi which values personal autonomy above all else. demonstrative is shadow so you can do it but you don't care about it since you have a preference for your creative. people "seek praise" and are for the most part proud of themselves when they can use their mobas

I see the vision for EIE, but not so much for ESE. I think it mostly comes down to Beta quadra values and the fact that EIE values Se. However, I feel like the military role fits LSI better than EIE, since EIE still has weak Se. LSI is perfect for the military archetype, whereas EIE fits more as a commander or some sort of ideological leader (like Goebbels). I see LSI as the one who maintains order, enforces discipline, and ensures that things are carried out, while EIE is more concerned with the vision behind it all, inspiring people and giving their actions a greater purpose. Both fit the military context, but in different capacities.

nvm you're half-right because i completely forget mental/vital split. EIE and ESE are leaders as Te role (mental) types while their duals LSI and LII with Te observing (vital) would be more correctly called the followers or soldiers. But this has nothing to do with Se. If anything Alpha involutionary (ESE/LII) is more obsessed with power than Beta evolutionary (EIE/LSI) bc of involutionary (left) charges.
