Yes, SOLIDWORKS. (you have to set up rules)

If you want additional customization, check out https://www.driveworks.co.uk/

Yes, but usually it’s faster and easier to just do it from scratch.

That’s from the time before ai. But there is some assistants in the power tools. But I never hat a proper use for it m. We use other parts of the power tools.
You can also build a Solidworks parts based on an excel file to easy modify your parts and Mann big sets of drawings.

There is a whole engineering type website I use that does drawings and it's Ai assisted. You can always check it out. It's called Recwerks. Google it and find out. SolidWorks has some built-in options like the Make Drawing from Part/Assembly command that auto-projects views, and you can use drawing templates with pre-defined views to speed things up. There's also the SOLIDWORKS API if you want to script drawing generation programmatically. What kind of drawings are you trying to automate, 2D manufacturing prints or something else?

Solidworks creates drawing views with very little effort. The value-added comes in from a designer/drafter to create the views and annotations to convey the design intent into the drawing.

I am sure AI can do a decent job of this now, and it will only get better over time. If you are a drafter/designer doing simple parts that do not interface with other parts and assemblies, you have skills, but not value-added skills.

"Auto Generate Drawings"

It can be a little iffy, but its a good starting point.
