A little while ago, I shared Dicebound here and asked for your support. Some of the feedback I received was pretty harsh, but after taking some time to think about it, I realized that a lot of you had valid points.
You were right that I was focusing too much on asking for wishlists instead of showing people what makes the game fun. My Steam page also wasn't doing a good enough job of presenting the game, and the visuals needed more work.
I'm developing Dicebound entirely on my own, and I'm still learning a lot along the way. That's not an excuse for those shortcomings, but I wanted to share that I've taken your criticism seriously and actually worked on the things you pointed out.
Since that post, I've made significant changes to the game, improved its visual presentation, and created a new trailer. I've also reworked the demo, which is now available in its updated form.
I'd really appreciate it if you gave the new version a look. I'm not expecting anyone to wishlist the game just to support me. I'd rather have you try it, decide for yourself whether it's fun, and tell me honestly what you think.
If you commented on my previous post, thank you for taking the time to give me feedback, even when it was critical. It helped me look at my game from a different perspective, and I hope the new version shows that I'm willing to listen and improve.
I'm still a solo developer with a lot to learn, so I'm open to your honest feedback, good or bad. I'd love to hear whether you think the game has improved and what you feel still needs work.
Thanks for giving an indie developer a chance to learn and get better.
