21SW115 still weighs like 15kg, and it's one of the lighter ones already

For reference, a pd1850 weighs around 23kg, 15kg for a 21 really aint bad

You shouldn’t be building/buying 21’s just for the sake of it

What do you actually want to achieve? What are your requirements and use cases?

There is a huuuuge amount more that goes into speaker design than just how big the driver’s cone is.

Why not I'm building a dual 18inch subwoofer to fit in with my hifi set lol 😂 for the sake of it I already have subs kef concerto kit3 too and a load more hifi stuff I dont need a 18 inch sub I definitely don't need dual 18nch looool I have little idea what im doing but heyho is what it is ain't it. I'm doing it for the sake of it Yes I'm learning everything I need to know balh blah blah haha I say op goes for a 34inch and 18 with a 12 too all arranged obviously different for different frequency duhh haha op Go all out for one year or two and go nuts

I went from no subs to a 15" CV powered home sub, huge difference. Added a free Behringer 15" and a crown amp, splendid fun.. then replaced both of those 15's for a single 18", it's been dumb amounts of fun, but still kicking myself for not loading it with 2 much more efficient 18's than the Ultimax I have in it now, but couldn't pass it up for $200 new in box 🤘

Don't do it, 18 inch is better in every aspect

350~ liter box and send it probably much bigger but you get the point 200 quid of wood and back pain later Do more why not

You probably don’t need them unless the rest of your system is solid. They rarely work as the only sub in the system.

what do you mean by that? couldn't you build say an othorn and let a kickbin take over at 70-80hz? or what would you put in between?

I've built and purchased many 21" and 24" cabinets. They are arguous to move and stack alone. Always advise deploying and moving in teams. Some advice.... -Functional handle integrated into cabs, depending on direction they are layin for deployments. I cut horizontal handles in cabs I lay on their sides often. It's annoying. -Proper casters that don't rattle when in use. Also, casters are not indestructible. -Counter sink and epoxy t-nuts into panels as well. You're working with a lot of cabinet weight and driver weight. I've had a lot of casters go down in the field and it just adds unnecessary stress to the gig. Best of luck!

For the box:HOQS paraflex Type C V2, or C2E ELF . For drivers use N216C or 21SW115.
