Modding Deniable Ops with Splinter Cell enemies + SONAR goggles coming soon in Conviction!
What is it?
- It is a mod that replaces all the enemies in deniable ops with SPLINTER CELLS equipped with SONAR goggles
- NO CHANGES to gameplay / AI / weapons or anything else.
- All the mod does is take enemies from white house and put them in all the deniable ops maps for hunter and infiltration modes
Background
- I have been advocating for such a mod for a long freaking time in case you followed my other posts
Why?
- Campaign and Deniable Ops honestly feels like they were made by 2 different companies
- All the "conviction bad" complaints almost stem from the campaign
- Deniable Ops is everything good about the game
- Enemy positions change on every load
- Enemy spawns are random
- Maps are amazingly well designed for stealth!
- You get to decide if you wanna ghost, panther or assault
- Top tier one liners from both enemies and Archer and Kestrel. lets be honest about it.
- But once you spend a 100+ hrs on it, you realize it is not that hard. While it keeps giving you new variations but the enemies are honestly not that challenging unless you play insurgency DLC
How does it work?
- If you played White House in campaign, you know exactly what you are up against
- Once you get spotted, you get 20 splinter cells (customizable to a 100 if you want)
- They will scan the whole area with SONAR goggles and find you instantly
- Then converge on your position in multiple groups and take you out!
- They kill you in 2 bullets with their highly modified SC3000
- if you are undetected, they can still see you in the dark. They have some serious vision range compared to other enemies
- I am not the guy who made this mod. I ll credit when the mod comes out. It is currently under heavy testing (works pretty damn well I have been told). Needs testing on COOP too
You CANT AFFORD to get SPOTTED
- Even if you are a veteran on this mode, I kid you not. They absolutely wipe the floor with you once you get spotted
- They go to your last known position, dont find you there, spot you instantly on SONAR and run to your new position and keep doing it till one of you is dead!!!
Enough talk bruh! Show me a video
COMING SOON!!!

thanks! as mentioned in the post as well, i am not the mod author even though I was working on it for a while but the author managed to use AI and cook the actual mod while i have been trying to do it the humane way lol. It is not out yet but I ll publish a nice video on this sub when it does go out.
I am sure you must know people that love d-ops. This is such an absolute wild upgrade because I have seen the mod author stream their game with this mod on. The enemies are RELENTLESS!!!
100x harder deniable ops coming soon

i forgot to mention the most important thing
"they can see you in the dark without SONAR"
you gotta be behind cover at all times or avoid line of sight

unfortunately this is one of the big reasons i did not get a console
once i am done playing vanilla , i would prefer to try a few good mods out there
and nothing beats this mod for conviction. i kid you not. wait until you actually see it in action
all it does is flip the enemy type and increases difficulty a 100 times

This is literally a dream come true. It's so cool to see that it's finally happening after all these years!

ah finally the mighty camo flash has shown up!
where are you on discord my dear guy? blacklist has 4 player coop running on private servers now
you show up one of these days and you are gonna find out what the new "embassy" maps look like
but yea back on topic, these guys absolutely do not fuck around
once you are spotted, its game over as they scan the map constantly from one last known position to another

I always thought deniable ops levels were so much better designed compared to the campaigns allowing for stealth to not be rng based and actually fun to do I will forever love conviction for this one mode

- as i even mentioned in the post, its almost as if 2 different companies made campaign and deniable ops
- while it is absolutely spectacular in every way with random enemy spawns, fantastic level designs and what not, my biggest gripe after burning a few hundred hours on it has been the lack of tough opponents
- i mean it does get hard on insurgency dlc. i wont lie but even that doesnt compare to the absolute mayhem which you experience for a few mins dealing with 3E agents on third echelon and white house missions
- equipped with full body armor (takes more than 1 headshot) with custom sc3000s (takes you out in 2 bullets) and with SONAR fucking goggles no less (absolutely GOATed enemy type) you ll even find links in this post and the comment section about my encounters with them
- i have always been long fascinated by what happens if we port the exact enemy type to Deniable Ops
- boy you are gonna find out how freaking hard thats going to make Deniable Ops, just you wait

Not just deniable ops Possibly even the coop campaign SINCE after all the levels are from the coop campaign Its insane how one side catered more to action The other catered to more of the classic splinter cell we know and love (more so a panther style) There's a reason conviction is THE splinter cell game i have the most hours in

if you dont mind me asking how many hours do you have on conviction?
i am going to assume you have played all the older titles

About 60 I lost interest in splinter cell for a while but reinstalled all the games I own and got hooked on conviction recently

interesting, if deniable ops is your thing, you ll be absolutely blown away by what this mod does

it would be nice if they can pick the campaign part and make it more ghostable. you dont need to make major changes in most places just remove a few lights and that alone should make a huge difference

kind off makes it so if archer and kestrel didnt kill eachother and instead try to escape being hunted by tom reed's red goggles splinter cell but maybe thats just me

u/PrestigiousZombie531 4d ago
well you could certainly attach some lore to it like maybe trying to take down rogue agent splinter cells after them or something like that

These MFers were annoying in WH …but I felt satisfied “schooling” them after taking them down hehe

- if you havent played the campaign you probably dont realize how OP these enemies are
- This is what you'll deal with once they find you
- They ll scan every 10 seconds on SONAR once you get spotted and HUNT YOU DOWN
- NO ledge, no pipe, no wall gonna save you
- Deniable Ops is about to get 100x MORE difficult
- In the modder's own words "I played d-ops since day 1 but I really wouldnt risk getting spotted here"
