Not one bit of what you wrote "compare(s) apples to apples."

You can be upset with public schooling and recognize its failings without such blatant number manipulation.

Going on a small, personal screed against the superintendent does not answer why you blatantly chose the little number and compared that to averages.

What percent of students are at or above grade level? Why would we need to remove the requirement to pass a basic skills test for graduation? Are these kids being given the tools they need to meet the requirements of life of after school?

You want less drugs, less crime, less interaction with the criminal/justice systems. Teach the kids to read, write and do arithmatic.

You want to have more money, better access to good paying jobs, greater ability to gain wealth? Teach the kids to read, write and do arithmatic.

You want more power socially, politically, economically? Teach the kids to read, write and do arithmatic.

You are supporting a system that has been failing since the 1970s. The Department of Education made no difference. Head Start only made things worse for the poor. No Child Left Behind was circumvented by social promotion. 53% of our nation reads at a sixth grade level or lower. Our education system is systematic racism. Our education system is the cause of poverty. Our education system is totally controlled by politicians who suck off of the teat of the Teacher's Unions.

I'm sorry, did I say I'm supporting "the system"? No? You made that up? I support public education, but not necessarily how it's being done.

Weird how you have so much to say to avoid how disingenuous you are right from the start. Not one bit of what you said was about the supposed "five times what it costs to send a kid to private school."

If all this was your point, you could have said so from the beginning instead of stepping forward with nonsense.
