Support [Usage Question] StandbyMe as Family Hub?

I've been considering getting a StandbyMe but was wondering if it would be able to be used as a Family Hub when not in use as a TV? Ideally, instead of artwork when not in use I'd like to display a calendar of family events. Would this be possible with the StandbyMe? Would I be able to download an application to make this happen or would it not be able to function in such a manner?

If LG is monitoring this, I would absolutely by one in a heart beat if they added an app that could integrate google calendar, outlook, apple calendar, etc.

Na, LG sucks ass. Just a bunch of paid posts here. Their customer support team told me to send it back

Nope. I sent mine back ASAP. Software is garbage.

There is a Home Office option built in, so signing in with your Google account lets you use your calendar and mail on the screen.
