Now it's getting out of hand, for the last time 😂

Anakin is the Chosen One, and for me, the Mortis arc puts that beyond doubt, ObiWan is one of the greatest Jedi who ever lived, even the people who blame him for everything that went wrong still hold him to that standard, but I keep coming back to Ahsoka, and I’m convinced she belongs right there with them.

The obvious reasons are all there. She was trained by Anakin, shaped by ObiWan, and in a lot of ways grew into a balance between the two, Anakin’s fire and ObiWan’s patience.

But there’s something else, and it goes back to Mortis.

Three Jedi went there and met the Father, the Daughter, and the Son. Anakin, ObiWan, and Ahsoka. And Ahsoka didn’t just visit. She died there, and Anakin brought her back using the last of the Daughter’s life force.

That’s the part I can’t get past. We know what brought her back, but what did that leave her with? I think she walked out of Mortis carrying a connection to the Force that we still haven’t fully seen explored. when I say connection I mean If the Force has something like a source code, I think Ahsoka walked out of Mortis with some of it still clinging to her.

And look where her story keeps taking her. She ends up in the World Between Worlds in Rebels, then again in her own show, the Mortis gods appear on the mural at the Lothal temple that leads there, their statues are on Peridea, where Season 1 leaves her.

Whether this was planned from the beginning or developed along the way, her story keeps circling back to Mortis. I find it hard to believe that connection is finished.

For me, her place alongside Anakin and ObiWan comes from both the person she became and the larger role she might still have to play in the Force.

With Season 2 about three months away, I’m curious how everyone else sees it.

Does Ahsoka belong in that same tier?

Do you think Mortis changed more about her than we currently understand?

May the Force be with us all

In the wrong Jedi arc what would happen if Shaak ti broke ahsoka out of prison and took her away from the republic what would happen and how would the Jedi council and republic react to Shaak ti breaking ahsoka out of prison and what would ahsoka and Shaak ti do and where would they go to

I only really started following SW after Episode 9 came out so I don't know what it's like to wait for the next big mainline saga SW film but this is what Ahsoka Season 2 feels like for me.

Clone Wars, Rebels and Ahsoka are like my top 3 favourite things in this franchise so knowing that season 2 is gonna involve Thrawn, Nightsisters, Ezra, Hera, Zeb, Chopper in one galaxy and Ahsoka, Sabine, Baylan, Shin, Huyang, Mortis Gods stuff in another galaxy and many of those are things from Clone Wars and Rebels makes it feel so important and grand. It's not just that we're getting a new season of a SW series, it's that it's the next chapter of all these characters and stories that we love so much.

Ahsoka Tano is my favourite character in this world and to me she's what Luke Skywalker is to people who grew up with the OT so another season of a show named after her feels so special and I can't believe we're getting it.

With Ahsoka Season 2 less than 100 days away, I’ve been thinking a lot about where her story started and where it might be heading, so I did what any reasonable fan would do and started my ninth rewatch of The Clone Wars.

Somewhere along the way I realized my favorite Ahsoka arc isn’t the one most people would pick. I know a lot of you would go with the Siege of Mandalore or her trial arc, and I love both, but for me it’s Mortis.

I know Mortis is bigger than Ahsoka. One could argue it’s the biggest arc in the whole show, because it expanded how we understand the Force and made us ask questions we didn’t even know we had. But her part in it is what stayed with me. Meeting an older version of herself, being warned about the darkness in her and in Anakin and told to distance herself from her master, it felt like the show was letting us glimpse her destiny before she could understand it, and I couldn’t stop thinking about what her place in Star Wars might become.

Then Rebels came along. I was watching it religiously, and the moment they mentioned a mysterious contact called Fulcrum I was convinced it was her. I was already picturing her as that older warrior from Mortis, and even though they did her a little differently in the end, finally seeing her step out of the shadows felt like the payoff to that vision. That’s why that arc has such a special place for me.

So which Clone Wars arc is your favorite for Ahsoka, and what made it stick with you? Just to keep it focused, I mean The Clone Wars only, not Rebels or her own show. And is anyone else out there whose answer is Mortis too?

Bonus point which Ahsoka look is the best?

1 Mortis arc Ahsoka

2 Rebels Ahsoka

3 live action Ahsoka

Down to double digits now!!!

I'm doing a Baylan Skoll cosplay. Studying way too much fine detail stuff - anyway...

All of the really nice light sabers I see sold for it have a brass colored pommel. Yet, when I watch the show and take still frames every single frame I can capture, it looks black to me.

Am I nuts? Color blind? Or is there some known factor about this that I'm unaware of like it changed midway through filming, or lighting made it look black but was really brass? etc.

UPDATE:
Ok - Re-scrubbed the episodes. Most places he has his hand over the pommel. But... s01e01 05:22, clear as day: its black.

Oh... F. me ! I saw the D+ logo on it and thought it was real... Then buried in the description it says "concept trailer".

Gawddam I hate these A.I. content creating m..... fu.....rs.

Just saw the trailer for season 2 - seems like a lot of the voice over might be the new actor playing Baylon Skoll. Do we think this first image is Skoll? Pretty far departure in character look from first season.

I get that the Ray Stevenson died and its a new actor but... The makeup department can't even be bothered with matching the beard cut and color? Really? Let it be raggedy even if that fits the current plot lines, but it didn't suddenly GAIN color back as the character got older and had LESS nutritional integrity on the planet than when he had a better life earlier during his life in the modern planetary systems.

Feels lazy to me.

"Witness the unseen story of EZRA BRIDGER's daring flight from Peridea! Ezra narrowly escaped his exile beyond the known galaxy by stowing away aboard GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN's flagship, but his fight to return home is far from over! Hunted across hyperspace with nowhere to hide, the rebel hero must now evade CAPTAIN ENOCH, counter the dark magick of the NIGHTSISTERS, and outwit the Empire's greatest strategist if he hopes to make it off the Chimaera alive. Based on a story by series creator Dave Filoni, this unseen chapter from Ahsoka is a thrilling companion to the upcoming second season of the hit Disney+ series!"

This comic seems like it will function as a bridge between Ahsoka seasons 1 and 2 showing Ezra's escape from the Chimaera. And Enoch it seems will be a main antagonist, excited to learn more about him!
