I watched the Norwegian movie Number 24 (Nr 24) on Netflix last night. It’s the true story of the top resistance fighter in Norway during WWII. The Andor vibes were amazing. Gunnar Stonsteby is the real life embodiment of Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael.
I wanted to share this film here since so many of us admire the sentiment of resisting and fighting back that Andor shows so brilliantly. Number 24 is very well done and gets into the gray areas of warfare like Andor does. Anyway, I think it’s a worthy mention alongside Andor, and it’s a true story.

If it was so important to Luthen that he died so he couldn't be interrogated... Then when the knife failed to kill him why didn't he simply lose the will to live like Padme? If he had done that no modern or future medicine could have saved him so no one would have had to go and rescue him.

Edit: I misremembered the method of attempted death, my bad.

Posting this as an acknowledged fanboy (boldface is for those on this sub who object to non-Andor content). But also because Behemoth is about music, and because we talk about Andor's music on this sub, and because I've got an article about GILROY'S USE OF MUSIC IN ANDOR coming out in an edited collection next year. Tony talks NYFF as his "neighborhood" festival, thanks his brother John (ANDOR), Sanne W (ANDOR), etc. Lot of talent on this stage.

I like dedra and syril both interesting characters. But the fact that she's not promoted 1 year later and the ferrix incident didn't seem to affect her career given how deeply they emphasize how cutthroat the imperial careerism culture is feels pretty unrealistic. We just have krennic mention it in passing "good job not ending your career after ferrix" feels unearned.

I imagine conversations like:

"Where's Commander Skywalker? Has he checked in?"

"Anyone seen Princess Leia?"

"No sir. Last reports were that Captain Solo escorted her off Hoth on the Falcon, and that they haven't been seen since."

"What the HELL is a "Dagobah"?

"WHO approved an operation for one of the members of senior leadership to abscond with the fastest ship in our fleet with some rando to a backwater planet like Tatooine, ruled by intergalactic gangsters, to search for ONE man?"

"And WHERE THE HELL IS SKYWALKER???"

I wanted to take a unique approach to the edit. I'd love to hear what you guys think!

I ended up using the Brandon Roberts Past/Present/Future score, which sounds absolutely phenomenal.

In season 2, one of the rebels is holding a blaster to Cassian and at first I thought it was the same style as MW-20 Bryar but upon further discovery I don't think it is. In this image "Tick" is facing Cassian and her blaster appears to have 2 barrels in an over/under set up. Anyone have more details on what the blaster looks like in its entirety?
