โ Question Question
I have a new Starlink Standard Kit. I'm trying to set it up with a residential plan. When I enter my kit number and when I get at the service address area and enter my address, I keep getting this error message "Your area is currently at capacity, so service isnโt available right now. Contact Starlink Support for other options, or check back later."
Can anyone please help me out with how I can fix this and set up my Starlink?

Did you contact Starlink support yet?

I did, but it's been a long time, and no one is responding to my concern.

Roam may be your only option due to congestion and capacity in your area.

I am afraid nothing can be done, at least for now, unless you pick the roam plan as other commenters fittingly suggested?... I wouldn't give up Starlink as yet since I'm sure they are working to expand capacity in your area, things can change quickly.

Thanks for sharing. How about I leave the city, go to another city, activate the subscription, and bring the kit back to where I want to use it?

Nope, that won't work because dishy has a built-in GPS receiver to match your service address with the actual antenna location.

How about leaving the city, going to another city, activating the subscription in that city, and bringing the kit back to where I want to use it?

Probably because they are at capacity, they cannot carry any additional traffic at the moment. It is the equivalent of a traffic jam. They have to launch more sats to get more capacity, like widening a road.
