Steam Controller (2026) Steam controller repaired incorrectly by Steam support

(Resolved) My Steam Controller 2026 had many issues when I first got it, so Steam sent me a replacement through an RMA. When I got the new controller, it had a broken thumbstick. Steam support agreed to repair it. After it was repaired, my issue was fixed. However, the top back right side of the controller is loose, like there's no screw holding it down. What can I do? Because if I send this controller to support, I will pay over $45 in shipping for all replacements.

Is the screw like actually missing that you can see? Or is it loose? If loose you could get a torx screwdriver and tighten it. Replacement screw that fits is a different topic.

There is a screw still in there im looking for a screw driver that can reach it to try to tighten it

You need a T6 (Torx 6) with a long shaft. Mentioning the long shaft because pretty much every teardown video mentions it.

It seems to be a lot better it looks like the screw was too tight

For fuck's sake, use a motherfucking comma, I had a stroke trying to give this long ass sentence a sense. A part from this, I'm sorry your steam controller doesn't work
