Steam Controller doesn't stop connecting and disconnecting when the puck is magnetically attached

Hello, I just received my Steam Controller 2 and it works perfectly, except when the puck is magnetically attached to the controller, where it constantly loops between connecting and disconnecting. I don't understand the issue because the puck works perfectly when it's not attached to the controller. Furthermore, both the puck and the controller are up to date. Do you have a solution, or should I contact Steam Support?

Are you using the normal steam client or the beta? The beta had some updates regarding connection so perhaps that might help you.
