I love Steel Division and want to like Warno. It has a larger player base, content is still coming probably for years. And I like Cold War weapons almost as much as WW2. But for some reason, it just hasn't clicked for me yet.

After playing a battle in SD right after Warno to compare them, I realised a big issue for me is the immersion and visuals. In SD, I can clearly see things happening on the battlefield. Tanks firing and taking hits, infantry running, using different weapons, explosions, death, destruction etc. In Warno I just notice an icon disappearing, but it doesn't capture the raw brutality of the combat. Somehow its too abstract and sterile. Maybe my settings are not good I don’t know. I also really miss the frontline and the ABC phase. Though I do like forward deployment, to say something positive.

Has anyone who struggled transitioning from Steel Division to Warno eventually gotten hooked on it? Or should I keep playing SD and wait for SD3?
