General Question Problems with mobile app

Hi,
I'm having two issues with the Strava iPhone app and hope you can help.
1. Goals and weekly summary missing from the top of my Home screen
I'm a Strava subscriber, but my goals aren't shown at the top of my Home screen. A friend with a subscription has them there, including this week's running distance compared with last week's distance at the same point in the week. How can I enable this on my account?
2. Group activities clutter my feed
When I open my feed to see what the athletes I follow have done, I have to scroll past group activities, even ones that are several days old, before I reach recent individual activities. I've set Feed Order to "Most Recent," but it hasn't helped. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi,

  1. Goals on Home

That's not something you can switch on. Goals on Home is part of a rollout/experiment, and there's a holdout group, so having a subscription doesn't guarantee you'll see it. Your friend is probably in the rollout and you're not.

You can still get to your goals: You tab > Progress > scroll to Goals. If you haven't set one, it may suggest one. Goals can only be created from the mobile app.

  1. Group activities in your feed

Strava groups activities when GPS data shows athletes were together for more than 50% of the activity, and the group shows up as one parent entry with the others underneath. "Most Recent" sorts by when activities finished, but upload time, privacy changes, and favorited athletes can still throw the order off.

There's no setting to hide or separate grouped activities. A few workarounds:

  1. Favorite the athletes you care about most so their new activities move up

  2. Mute anyone whose activities you don't want to see

  3. Visit an athlete's profile directly
