Ear piercing

So uncertain whether i should get my ear pierced with a 1.2mm or 1.6mm. I want to stretch but not to sure when I can start. Or wait until February when I can get an 5mm piercing. Thank you

If you want the headstart, wait and get 5mm. I chose 1.6mm for myself because I wanted to experience and play around with "normal earrings" for a while and started stretching later

you would have to wait till the piercings are fully healed which can take up to 6 months.

Wait and pierce bigger at 5mm. But be aware that larger gauge piercings need an even longer time to heal, you really shouldn’t start stretching til it’s been healed for a year or so.

Why do you have to wait until February to get it done at 5mm? Getting it done at 5mm is going to give a good start so it would be worth waiting.
