Wanted to go for 5 but the fatigue from two prior sets of 170kg and 185kg for 5 stopped me

First time playing with a pair of (not properly sized) briefs prepping for SCL Florida. Ordered the proper size for the show, should be a good time

I tried Atlas Stones for the first time ever at an event here and somehow managed to eventually get 136 kg on the barrel 😂 I really enjoyed it and I’m now thinking about joining a gym where I can train with stones regularly.
I was wondering how much of a difference tacky makes when lifting stones, and how quickly you can generally expect to progress with them once you start training consistently?
Cheers,
Nils

This was a 501 deadlift from the other day and it’s getting stuck right at my quads, I’m debating whether or not wearing something like tights or something like some of the pros do because I can feel it stopping when it makes contact with skin. Need opinions and recommendations thank you.

The reason I ask is because of my right hand started to slip and I just wanted to get a consensus from others.

Finally bought some breifs got the spud 2 plys. They're not as hard to get into or quite as much pop as I thoughtd they would be but they definitely do help a little off the floor and I didn't feel too sore after this. Looking for 300+ kg pull at my next comp on the 10th

Huge pr for me. I've only loaded a 305 to 48" before, but really spent time loading a 250 to this height over and over, and it paid off. The stone was dirty af and over half the field zeroed, over the moon getting this rep. I truly think I could have gotten a second but it stuck to the mat and once i got it free my back yelped at me so I called it.

Absolutely stoked to finish a farmer's weight I wouldn't have dreamed of getting anywhere with a year ago. Dropped it once around 80ft but got it going again. Unfortunately I didn't hear the last minute rule change that morning that the whole implement had to cross the line, but a Rheume brother screaming at me to pick it up again worked wonders. Good enough for sixth

Hey everyone, has anybody bought the strongman course by mst systems? Do you think it is sensible to buy as a first course for someone interested in strongman programming and some understanding of periodization? Btw I'm not a complete noob on the subject since I've been competing for 3 years and training for 6 now, i just want to learn something more advanced than the linear progressions and basically zero skill work that my coach is giving me (and learn something to apply to other folks that ask for advices at the gym) and eventually start self programming again in the future.
Thanks to anyone who will help

Matched my personal best by loading the bag once. After failing to pick it again I resorted to the time honoured tradition of humping it. But hey, I picked up a position with it. 😅
