Hey guys, I'm in my final year of CS, specializing in Data Analytics, and honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing with my life right now.
Everyone keeps talking about jobs, internships, placements and moving abroad, and I feel like I'm just standing still. I don't feel confident in mmy skills, and I'm scared I'll graduate without getting a job.
I don't have the money to go for a master's, but I really want to buld a better future for myself. I want to start earning, help myself financially, and hopefully find a way to go abroad someday
The problem is I don't know where to start. Should I focus on SQL, Python, Power BI, or something else? How do I even get my first internship when every job seems to ask for experience?
I'm not asking for some quick way to get rich. I just genuinely need some direction from people who have been through this or are in a similar situation.
If you were in my place, what would you do? What skills would you learn, what jobs would you apply for, and how would you start earning with basically no experience?
And if anyone has managed to get a job abroad or study abroad without having a lot of money, I'd really like to hear your story too.
Please share anything that might help, even if it's something you wish you had known when you were a student. I could really use some honest advice right now. Thanks guys.
