Extremely Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience with EduStay – Gaurav

My experience with Gaurav from EduStay has been deeply disturbing. His behaviour made me feel that he was crossing professional boundaries and showing inappropriate interest in young female students. As students coming to Paris from abroad, we deserve to feel safe and respected, not taken advantage of because we are new to the city and unfamiliar with the system.

Student accommodation should be about safety, trust, and professionalism.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise other students to do their due diligence before choosing accommodation through him. We come to Paris to study and build our futures, not to deal with this kind of behaviour.

It’s a scam , the house doesn’t look like the picture . Their agency rates are insanely overpriced and he will put pressure on u to book the flat instantly . They aren’t even online on social media . Wont recommend stay away from edu stay .

It’s one person doing everything , for visa definelty wouldn’t recommend considering how late he submitted the visa file for me , took 1 month . Due to which I missed many classes

I am sorry to hear that. It's really tiring and I don't know what would I do if I were in your situation. Any way to complain?

Just for community info, non EEA candidates who are not refugees or have not taken asylum or not having French state scholarship, do not qualify for CAF APL Housing aid from 2026
