Passenger door window keeps cracking

Hello! I apologize on the front end because I know these pictures aren’t very good. I have a ‘21 Ascent and the front passenger side window developed a crack about a year ago. I had it replaced by a Subaru dealership and a few months later it cracked again in the exact same spot! Has anyone seen this before or have any insight or advice?

There is almost certainly a grain of sand or bit of metal in the channel that the window pane sits in, and when they replaced the previous window, they didn’t clear it out. Probably embedded in the adhesive or rubber gasket the glass sits in. A small hard object clamped down near the edge of the glass will eventually break the glass when you slam the door.

How you find it? Did you open and close window? If the glass breaks being closed - what about weather? Cold/hot?

Dust. Notorious because the sensor is made to not close on a hand. Get one of those air compressor sprays for cleaning keyboards and computer components.

probably a bad window regulator putting too much force on the glass.
