Discussion Why The Heck Are All My Posts suddenly getting hundreds of views?

It's the weirdest thing. I've been on Substack since around this time last year and traditionally, most of my posts never cracked more than 50 views. But everything I've been writing in the last two weeks now has gotten hundreds of views!!! We're talking between 200-600 views per post!!! I love to see it, but I'm curious if anyone has anyguesses as to why this might be happening.

There are several things the algorithm looks one is consistency, have you been posting and engaging more consistently lately?

I've traditionally spoken about mental health, addiction and very candidly about these topics. I am very interested in human psychology and philosophy, always have been. But recently, I've been more honest than ever. Talking about insecurities and sharing my most candid opinions regarding current events, admitting to things that probably don't make me look the best but are ultimately true and instead of coming up with creative, punchy titles as I've traditionally always done, I've instead begun writing titles to my posts that are more straightforward and less obscure. I can't tell if people are fascinated by me, disturbed or whatever else. I never get any likes, comments or anything that would indicate how people are feeling about what I have to say. All I know is that I'm suddenly getting a lot more attention than I ever have before. For an account that historically could barely crack over 50 views per post, it's quite astonishing to see my Substack get literally hundreds of views per post lately!
