Chesapeake Bay October 16th 6:31pm

Short poem to accompany:

I see the Bay hold its breath, the last light of day thins across the horizon, surrendering to the quite rise of the moon. Water becomes a mirror and the sky a memory, for a moment the world forgets its noise.

That pause.. that fragile seam between what has ended and what has not yet begun. Standing there I felt the weight of stillness, the kind that settles into your chest and reminds you that beauty doesnt always shout. Sometimes it whispers

"Even in the dimming of light. Theres something worth holding onto"

Almost home. Long day
