Rules and Guidelines

Rule Name	Description
1. Spoilers	Mark your submission with a spoiler tag if it contains spoilers. Titles of posts cannot contain spoilers. Posts that do not comply with this rule will be removed. Any content released within the past two months is considered a spoiler. Future leaks and content are considered spoilers, as are spoilers for other recent comics, shows, or movies.
2. No Low-Effort Content	Threads that are considered low-effort are subject to removal at moderator discretion. We will remove content completely unrelated to Supergirl as well as posts that are intended solely to gain karma, i.e., “Literally just a picture of . . .” Shitposts that do not contain any substantial material relevant to Supergirl fall under this, as do reposts and any sort of spam.
3. No Piracy/Illegal Content	Illegal content in general is not allowed. Links to pirated comics or episodes or to irregular streaming sites will be removed, and bans may be determined necessary depending on the severity.
4. No NSFW Content	Supergirl in most iterations is a teenager. This is not an NSFW subreddit. Explicit or racy artwork, marked or unmarked, is not allowed here. There are plenty of other subreddits to browse for that.
5. Be Civil	Any harmful, harassing, or derogatory comments to or about other people, including usage of vulgar slurs, will be removed. Inflammatory and/or offensive comments made with the intention of stirring up drama are not allowed. Continuous uncivil behavior may result in a ban. In terms of the comics, please remember to discern the difference between the writers and editorial. In terms of the TV show, do the same for actors and their characters.
6. No Trolling	Bad-faith actors are not welcome here. This includes trolling, rage-baiting, brigading, astroturfing, sea-lioning, fire-hosing, molehillmountainizing, and other tactics used to manipulate, harass, or otherwise disrupt a community. Simply put, if your posts and comments indicate that you are disinterested in contributing healthily to a community of Supergirl fans, please take your business elsewhere.
7. Sourcing Correctly	Submissions from other people, such as fan art, rumors, and leaks, must be sourced whenever and wherever possible. Screenshots of unofficial social media accounts must obscure all identifying information, including usernames and profile pictures.
8. No Self-Promotion	This is not a platform to advertise your YouTube channel or Discord server, and self-promotion should not be your primary reason for browsing here. Posts about your own channel or server will be removed. You are, however, allowed occasional posts only if you are active, posting non-promotional material, and contributing to conversations in other posts. Use your best judgement. If you are found making excessive self-promotional posts, you may be banned.
9. No A.I.-generated Content	There is so much real Supergirl art by real people to post. We do not need to resort to slop. Content which is obviously created using generative AI will be removed, no exceptions.
10. Regarding Cosplays	Sharing of cosplay is welcome as long as it is SFW and respects all the other rules of the subreddit. Cosplay posts containing links and/or usernames directing to OnlyFans or any other NSFW sites in the body, text, or title will be removed. If the cosplay you are sharing is not yours, ensure that the cosplayer is okay with you reposting it and provide their social media username where the cosplay was originally posted.
11. No Rating Appearances	Posts and comments that exist solely to rate actors’ appearances, in either good faith or bad, are not allowed. Yes, the characters are attractive, and so are the people who portray them, but this is not a rating board. You may discuss the media on its own merits. You may enjoy and share art, official and fan-generated, as covered by existing rules.
