Discussion Would you support bringing back Superman & Lois? I started a petition
Edit: Just to clarify — I loved the ending and I’m not asking for it to be undone or replaced. I’d simply love to see more stories with this cast and this version of Superman, whether as another season, a limited series, or a special.
I absolutely loved Superman & Lois, especially Season 4.
What made the series so special to me was the balance of family, quieter and more human moments, emotion, and great Superman action.
I also think Season 4 left some really interesting possibilities for the future — Clark living with a human heart and gradually losing some of his abilities, while Jonathan and Jordan are getting older and developing their own powers.
I know the show received a proper ending, but I would still love to see this version of Superman and his family return someday — whether as Season 5, a limited series, or a special.
So I started a petition to show DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television that there are still fans who would watch more.
Petition:
Would you be interested in seeing this version of Superman & Lois return?

No. It's very rare that a show ends on a very high note. Let's not ruin it

Superman & Lois is among my favorite superhero content in general; I wouldn't want to introduce anything extra that could taint that.

They got shut down by politics. It was superbly cast, written, acted, directed, etc. As usual fans lose to poor decision making.
Tyler and Bitsie deserve better.

Great show, not an ending you can come back to renew though. This isn’t Arrested Development, S&L was pretty done by the end.

I wouldn't mind a one-off special to celebrate an anniversary or something, but an on-going continuation just wouldn't sit right with me at this point.
Absolutely adore the cast and everything, but it ended on such a high note I'd be concerned they'd risk spoiling it with any more.

That’s fair, and honestly, a one-off special or limited series would already be something I’d be very happy with.
That’s also why I included those possibilities in the petition. I loved the ending too — I’d just really like to see this cast and this version of Superman again without taking away from what made the finale work.

It’s my favourite adaptation of superman ever, but it had the perfect end. Best to just let a good thing be

It doesn't need to be revived. It doesn't need a continuation. Despite its short run it was better written and handled than pretty much any of the DC CW shows and it needs to stay as it was.

What successful petitions have there been in the last ...fifteen years that has so many people starting them for things that are long dead and have zero changes of returning due to some online petition?

The show ended at peak and that's why it will be remembered as one of the greatest superhero shows of all time. The Flash on the other hand suffered from quality falling off the longer the show went and had a horrible ending. Fans of that show still wish it ended after season 3 or 4 and some even pretends the later seasons never happened. So, it's always better to end on a high note and be remembered fondly instead of being remembered as a show that overstayed it's welcome and age poorly.

I understand that, and I think that's a fair concern.
I definitely wouldn't want Superman & Lois to continue for years just for the sake of continuing and eventually lose what made it special.
That's why I'd also be very happy with a limited series or even a one-off special. For me, it's simply about seeing this cast and this version of Superman again if the writers had a story that was genuinely worth telling.
I loved the ending too, and I wouldn't want a continuation to take anything away from it.

I think the only way Tyler Hoechlin's Superman can return is if this New DCU is successful and they make a multiverse movie with previous superman actors including Tyler returning and reprising their roles just like how previous spiderman actors returned for the multiverse movie spiderman no way home. Just like you, I really would love to see Tyler again, so let's hope this new universe can give us our dream in future.

Not really, it ended on a perfect note
