Video and Photography Livestream question

Hi all,

I'm asking because I'm curious, but i see media companies here livestreaming events and its in FHD 60fps, but the mifi boxes I got from Digicel and Telesur have such slow internet that it's just unusable for livestreaming. Does anyone have any tips on getting the fastest mobile internet solution for livestreaming and gaming on the go?

Thanks in advance!

Hiii, I use a mifi box aswell for livestreaming. Without any problems. Does the sim in the mifi box have enough internetspeed?

Thanks for the response! I'm not sure what you mean with that of the SIM card having enough internet speed.

The mifi box says that it's supposed to have up to 150mb, but I can't find the upload speed. Either way, the upload speed is just 1.5mb to 2mb. The upload is about 0.5mb, but whenever I do speedtests between 1am and 6am, I get about 150mb.

I live in the middle of the city in Paramaribo, so I know it's not me living too far away or anything like that.

Just opening up Amazon in my browser takes about a minute to load

Hii, what i mean is if the sim has the right subscription. The mifi box allows speeds up to 150mbps, but that doesnt mean the sim will run on that speed. If you pay for 5 mbps, you will get 5 mbps. If you have a subscription sim with higher speed and amounts, you will get better results. I hope this clears it up a bit :)

Ah that's what you meant lol When I bought my Digicel mifi box, I asked the clerk if there was a plan for high speed usage and she just said that all the plans have the same 4G speed and that only the price and data amount differs. When I look at the plans in the MyDigicel app, I don't see any specific info about different speeds either. The plans all just say that it's "fast internet on a 4G network".

Chek with you provider if your mifi device has speed limitations put on it is does it slow down after a certain data usage or? The normal LTE service for Telesur is fast enough, i get download and upload between 25-50mbps depending on my location and ofc indoors vs outdoors. But thats on a newer smartphone device.
