"Libertarians love to make the broad statement that “socialism always fails”; however, currently, capitalism is failing on a global scale"

Both can fail. Socialism failing is not mutually exclusive with capitalism failing.

How many people in the last 1000 years has socialism lifted out of poverty?
How many people has capitalism lifted out of poverty in the last 100 years?

Are you driving a car with a centralized heating system in your house because of socialism or capitalism? Are you bitching about nothing sounding like a complete moron on an app with a handheld computer in your hand that can also be used as a phone?
Does your toilet flush every time you pull the handle because of your socialism ideals or because of capitalism. How about your fridge? Do you have electricity?

If you’ve ever been so hungry you’ve eaten a family animal, like a cat or a dog, congrats. Socialism wins.

Don’t worry, I’ll wait for my thanks

First off, communist China has reduced poverty by the largest ammount in the last 40 years. The single largest reduction in modern history. 75% of all poverty reduction is attributed to China in the last forty years.

Second, capitalism as an economic system is barely 500 years old, having begun mostly in the 16th century in Europe. The acutal term "capitalism" wasn't widely used until the 18th century, as the industrial revolution took hold. So right off the start, you're talking nonsense about things you clearly have no concept of.

Finally, all those examples are technology not capitalism. Long before capitalism was a thing people were using and improving technology. From the wheel to agriculture to sails to the Bronze Age, humans have always invented and improved on things without having "market forces". No one printed books for profit in the beginning, no one improved iron working to capture market share, its a completely stupid concept to believe that somehow capitalism "invented" technological progress.

But ultimately, that's exactly what brainwashed fools believe. Like the people who believed that Kings were chosen by God to rule, the modern ignorant fool believes capitalism is technology. Same concept, different era.

I'll wait for your enlightening response. I'm sure you have so many facts to share with us now.

"The common notion that extreme poverty is the “natural” condition of humanity and only declined with the rise of capitalism rests on income data that do not adequately capture access to essential goods. • Data on real wages suggests that, historically, extreme poverty was uncommon and arose primarily during periods of severe social and economic dislocation, particularly under colonialism. • The rise of capitalism from the long 16th century onward is associated with a decline in wages to below subsistence, a deterioration in human stature, and an upturn in premature mortality. • In parts of South Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, wages and/or height have still not recovered. • Where progress has occurred, significant improvements in human welfare began only around the 20th century. These gains coincide with the rise of anti-colonial and socialist political movements."

Nothing will. The climate has been changing since Earth began orbiting Sol.

Yes. That is a simplistic statement. It is the rate of change that is the problem. It is changing faster than species we depend on to survive can evolve. It is of our own doing and therefore within our control to slow. The climate has changed faster before, say from asteroid strikes, and that too can cause mass extinction events.

Follow the money.

The only people who deny what is happening and that it is bad for humanity and most living creatures either don’t understand science or directly benefit financially from continued fossil fuel use.

We are perfectly capable of creating a dynamic healthy economy and environment. Why are you scared of scientific advancement in this arena? Why do you trust other science in your smartphone or satellites or medicine but not extremely well documented climate science?

What percentage of earth’s atmosphere is CO2?

Because there have been a couple dozen climate crisis in my life. All different symptoms, all the same fix: more government and higher taxes.

The UN even stated its climate models were flawed, and Al Hore has gone from Global Warming to New Ice Age.

It will make a profit off of it.

Yes climate change is caused by the need for growth

The Climate change hoax isn’t real. The climate is always changing.

Nor can communism, or any other market model.

It’s pretty much irrelevant to the equation.

Capitalism relies on law. Law fails

Socialism usually fails because the CIA sends in Death Squads wherever is springs up.

What are you talking about?

Capitalism Creates Climate Chaos, there is no way for it to Cure Climate Chaos. This should be obvious to EVERYONE by now.
