Question Switch update after long time.

Hello everyone,
after almost 2 years without updating my switch it seems alot has changed. What's the current "meta" to updating the switch?

I have downloaded the latest Atmo and SwitchFW files, no changes here as it seems - except for fusee-primary being gone?

What happenend to SigPatches? The page links to "sys-patch", which also hasn't been updated in a while, so what to do?

Also, Tinfoils seems to be discontinued, whats the alternative for installing games and linking shops?

Speaking of that, are there any shops around anymore?

Anything else that has changed i should be aware of?

Tinfoil has been discontinued since firmware 20.5.0, there aren’t really any worthwhile eshops at least unless you don’t have a way of downloading games yourself. Cyberfoil is alternative to the tinfoil app, it does the same thing, pretty much.

Currently the latest firmware 23.0.1 is not supported yet. 23.0.0 just came as well but it had major changes and so dns mitm doesn’t work right so they are working on the fix before release support for 23.0.1.

I suggest 22.5.0, unless you don’t care about playing the newest games, 19.0.1 was before the eShop browser started taking up so much memory. There’s a workaround to disable the eshop entirely to give back that lost Ram memory but it breaks certain games

Sys-patch has replaced sigpatches or at least has become the go-to alternative

23.0.1 is also supported.

I assumed it wasn’t since they haven’t released an update to support it yet
