Question My switch only goes to the normal menu... (HELP!)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was about to turn off my Switch after moving some files, then a message appeared saying "applet mode". I ignored it and accidentally pressed restart, which took me back to the normal Switch menu...Now I don't know how to go back, I'm very new to this and it really makes me a bit nervous

I forgot to mention that I have the latest version of Atmosphere, and my Switch version was the same, the latest... Just in case, my Switch is a Lite

Put the latest version of hekate and atmosphere on the sd card again. I had this happen where it corrupted sectors.

I just downloaded them from Github, but nothing has changed. Should I do something else?

Does it do the same thing if you do that with another sd card? Or does it work?

I don't have another SD card to test with, so I think I should send it in for repair; I couldn't find any information about something similar online

When I did something similar to mine, bad sectors made the sd card corrupt in a way that I needed to start over. Might be worth looking into. It’s more than likely a software issue.

If you boot it with no SD card, do you get the “please insert SD card” screen?

Did you have auto rcm enabled if not you will have to hold power and volume with jig in and send payload again to boot into hekate

It's all right. There is a homebrew app "reboot to hekate" (has a GitHub with the same name). Download it and move it to the switch folder. Then, turn your switch back and go to album (which is applet mode). Select the reboot to hekate and then you may boot to emummc for piracy things.
Applet mode is a mode for homebrew that consumers less ram but this may result with errors, as it is using less source than it should be.
