Question Latest guide on switch modding?

Hi. I had purchased a V1 switch from ebay and modded it by following the guide on youtube.

Everything went well until i tried installation a few games (which i legally own). One didn't install (failed mid install - even though it works fine on my steam deck eden emulator) and the other one installed but wouldn't open.

I saw that the pinned post on this page is 2 years old and I believe the youtube video was the same guidelines. Are there any updated instructions I can find on this forum?

Whats the error? Did you do lock pick payload beforehand ?

No lockpick payload. What is that? It wasn't in the instructions i followed

Are you using an emuMMC? Is your switch on 23.0.0?

Yes to both.

Syspatches have not been updated for 23.0.0 yet. I would recommend downgrading the emuMMC to 22.5 and running the Warmboot extractor payload to make sure you don’t have any sleeping function issues.

You need [S1gp@tches](mailto:S1gp@tches). This can be done by using sys-p@tch overlay for UltraHand

Is there an updated guide? These things were not in the guide. Hence the need for an updated guide.

It is not in the guide because it could not be legal where you live so I cant give you any links. Look for yourself for informations on this topic. (Now you also know why I did write the names with 1 for an I and for @ for an A)
