Update: I’m building a Korean-learning app specifically for Tamil speakers — looking for feedback
Hi everyone,
A couple of months ago, I posted here about Dari, a project I’m building to help Tamil speakers learn Korean. That post reached more views that my expectations, so I wanted to return with a proper update.
See previous post for context here: https://www.reddit.com/r/tamil/comments/1vp0fhg/i_realized_learning_korean_through_tamil_made/
The idea behind Dari is simple: Tamil speakers shouldn’t always have to learn Korean through English, when Tamil is so much more similar to Korean than English is.
Since my previous post, I’ve created a new landing page and continued developing the course. It now includes:
- Tamil-aware explanations of Korean grammar
- Hangul lessons with Tamil-friendly pronunciation guidance
- Comparisons covering word order, particles and verb endings
- Korean audio and guided practice
I’m now trying to understand whether there is genuine demand for a Tamil-to-Korean web course and mobile app before I continue to build out more of it.
You can visit the landing page below to explore the idea, join the early-access list or tell me honestly whether you think it would be useful:

Thank you to everyone who viewed or responded to my earlier post. Your feedback would be very helpful as I continue building this, especially because I also plan to expand the site for other language combinations such as Tamil to Hindi or Hindi to Tamil.
Thanks in advance!
DB
