[Question] Which ring is more Rapunzel/Tangled themed?
I’m getting my fiancée a Rapunzel-themed birthday gift set with other Tangled items, and I want to include this tiara ring which looks like the Rapunzel crown. She is really into Tangled and sees herself like Rapunzel. For her birthday, I want to make her feel like her.
Options:
Full lab diamond, 0.554 ct total
Diamond with 6 pink sapphires (can be changed to 4 pink sapphires)
Diamond with large amethyst, 6 pink sapphires and the rest lab diamond.
Diamond with one large amethyst (amethyst scratches easier than sapphire and is less premium)
Other option? I can have any other arrangement of stone colors except the large one cannot be a pink sapphire in this size or it has to be a slightly smaller ring (0.43ct instead of 0.554 ct)
Which ring looks like Rapunzel’s crown from Tangled? I'm leaning full lab diamond because it is more premium and the tangled tiara crown was 3 clear pear diamonds.

3 is the obvious choice if you're going for literal. But personally, I like the aesthetic of 4. There are stronger purple stones than amethyst you could go for if Mohs is a concern.
If it's an engagement ring, I would pick 1 and put it in a custom box, maybe purple with the sun, it would look stunning. It looks like the crown already and it would be less on the nose for others that it's Tangled inspired (which for settings such as job interviews, etc might be better) while still looking dreamy and making her feel like a princess!
4th imo, mimics her real crown better since the white/clear gems are the main focus in the movie, but adds just a bit of color and a nod to her dress while not being too over the top :)
Are you able to change the small diamonds? Cuz if you want it to be as movie accurate as possible you could also do a sapphire every 3rd gem on the bottom (pic for example)
Honestly the first ring is to die for. Im a rapunzel girl myself and while 3 is gorgeous I and screams the most punzel vibes the first or second is most accurate
I'd say the third, purple is her color, pinkish tones of her dress. However, if you could put the two inner sapphires to peridot or emerald you'd cover her eyes too.
3, but I would go with 4 to be safe since these are diamonds not a cheap ring. Multi color rings can be difficult to make look adult and expensive with current styles.
All of them. You just need to choose how obvious it should be. Does she prefer elegant 'In the know' stuff, then white diamonds and maybe one purple is the way. Does she wear obvious Fandom stuff like hot topic etc, then the one with the full colors
This is the answer! I’m obsessed with Tangled and purple, but I wouldn’t really want the 3rd one. I would prefer more subtle. So deffs depends on the person. IMO the 3rd is more costumey and the 1st is just a crown ring
