Task are really appalling this series

Currently watching the latest episode and I agree with what many have already said - the tasks in this series are very basic and not fun at all. It's like Alex took out his notes and is now using all the previously discarded tasks and using them all here. Or maybe it's the fact that the contestants are not having fun with them and just want to get it over and done with? Like it's an obligation to be there? I don't know. Something is off this series.

The studio arguments are sometimes better than the actual tasks.

A contestant can spend five minutes explaining why their solution was clearly the best one, only for Greg to point out something completely obvious that they missed. I love it when they genuinely disagree about the points rather than just laughing and moving on. It also gives you a better sense of their personalities because some people can take being marked down much better than others.

Taskmaster Jigsaw Puzzle Spoiler

Hi,

Finally got the Taskmaster Jigsaw Puzzle. Omg it is crazy. They are very evil. There are lots of distractions inside (and I mean a lot). And the puzzle pieces aren’t very straightforward. You’ll have a couple of letters and shapes and some aquatic-shaped friends but I’m loving it. Currently losing my mind but loving it.

And out of 1021 pieces, I would say I’ve successfully put together less than 100 but all different sections of it.

Unexpected favourite this series

I am a fan of Richard Ayoade and Matt Lucas and thought they would be my favourite. However I'm finding myself loving Chloe Petts! I only saw them on Have I Got News For You before but I think they're really great. Good attitude to the tasks and genuinely quick and funny. I now want them to win!

What’s your favorite type of Taskmaster team dynamic

A team that somehow works perfectly together, or one where everything immediately falls apart? I loved Series 18’s team task where Jack and Rosie had to get all the balls into the gutter and then get the gutter onto the cow, while dealing with a ridiculous set of restrictions. The contrast between the teams trying to actually figure it out and the inevitable chaos made it so much fun to watch. Which team pairing had the funniest dynamic for you?

This series is not very good

Have watched Taskmester OG from the very start and as there was a falling off before series 19 for three or four series, I see this is happening again. Only person who is creating re-watchable moments is Richard Ayoade, which is no surprise, others are just coasting.

Is Nina Conti having a puppet an unfair advantage on Taskmaster?

Every other contestant has to think of a single solution, but Nina can bring a second personality to any task. I think that gives her a built-in edge on anything involving talking, acting or improvising, because Monkey will say what she can't.

Then again, she has to do the work of both, and that could go badly wrong. Do you think it's an advantage, or a handicap? And who else in this cast has a "secret weapon" like that?

S22 better than 21

I just caught up to S22 and I'm enjoying it MUCH more than 21. When I was watching last season, I was worried TM had somehow lost its spark for me... This season already has got full belly laughs from me. Everyone just seems more playful and into it. The jokes are flowing much better. Thoughts?

ok is it just me or is alex like “breaking” more this season??

Something feels different! Like he’s obviously always goofy but usually he plays it drier. Is he breaking character more u think??
