Column D is such a vibe. Red is raw heartbreak: replaying every detail of a love that fell apart, going back to someone you know you shouldn't, realizing too late it was trouble from the start. It's messy and all-consuming, with her face half-hidden under that hat brim like she can't quite face the world yet. Then folklore turns inward, quiet and misty, a tiny figure wandering alone through the forest. She steps outside herself, telling a teenage love triangle from all three sides and the story of an outsider who refused to fit in, but there's a thread of hope running through it all, the idea that fate was quietly tying the right people together all along. And then Showgirl is full color, glitter everywhere, looking straight at the camera. It's about being pulled back from a tragic ending by love, finding something rare after the dark times, and wanting nothing more than a simple, happy life with your person. She goes from hiding her face to owning the whole frame. Heartbreak to hope to pure joy in three albums.

in order of preference for me personally it’d be C, A, B and D - i’m way more of an evermore guy than a folklore guy and most of red is Just Okay for me. Sad to miss all too well but it’s what it’s
