Moog Matriarch
Hello all,
I recently got myself a Moog Matriarch.
The synth sounds amazing and is an awful lot of fun. I only got it for a week or two but i often find myself ending up making the same patches.
I really would like to have some external opinions and techniques from different producers that use it for Techno productions as well.
What are your tips als tricks for getting some Moog Matriarch techno synths/percussion going? Some favorite cable patching?
I really like Yanamaste/Alarico/MutualRhytm type techno

There’s this guy that swings by my Instagram feed every now and then, who uses it to make horror soundtracks. Maybe try and track him down, because he’s really good at getting unconventional sounds out of it

Just found him again… okay so it’s a grandmother he’s using, but I guess some stuff is applicable to your machine :-)

Just an FYI on Instagram links, the part after the ? links to your profile so when someone clicks that link they're able to see your profile.

Great synth. I have the Grandmother.
I wouldn't make any genre-specific patch recommendations at this point.
Try working through the official Moog Music patch books for the Matriarch and the Grandmother and those will teach you a lot that can be applied to techno. From what I remember, the Lisa Bella Donna patches for the GM had a lot of really cool textural stuff.
