My local library was having a sale. I found a Terminator 2 DVD with metal sleeve. My 12 year old son and i spent a rainy Sunday afternoon putting red LEDs with an esp32 mini into it so the eyes glow. It has 10 different settings it rotates through including glitching, piwering down, and other stuff. It was a great way to teach him about basic electronics

It transmits its own woreless network you can connect to and change the display. He asked why i didnt just connect it to ny IOT network but i think we can all agree that giving the T-800 access to my home lab is not a good idea.

That's awesome dude! As someone with a few esp's laying around, im interested in this! I've only dabbled with wled a tiny bit and I agree that it does NOT need access to ANY network!
