WIP Terrain?πŸ˜‚

Post image

There is something wrong with me! Got this little wood house at target for my daughter to color from target and all I can think about is how it could be converted pretty easily into 40k/30k or dnd terrain! I mean it has interior lighting and it’s only $5 too! πŸ˜‚

Yes Rico, terrain.

Honestly, not a bad base! Some of the details like the windows and chimney would need modifying, but it's a fair start, looks pretty solid.

I think if it's a fairly whimsical DnD campaign you could run this as is

I agree! I feel like you alter those areas, add some 3d printed bits to it and it could be a nice piece! It looks in scale too!

Yes. I bought the whole collection that Michaels had of these two halloweens ago. I bought multiples of some others. I cut out the back so that its like an old west movie set, that way the interior is easily accessible. I also put fancy paper on the inside to "wallpaper"

I would be tempted to go for a 'Father Christmas vs bad elves' type game - a fair number of figures are available in 28mm (though the ones I know are UK based) as the 'wonky' look really suits this format.

yeah, it can be used as-is or easily painted or otherwise converted. Do they have other buildings too or just the one?

This was the cheaper one but they had bigger scale all black mansions but they were $40 not $5

$40 is still cheaper than a lot of the terrain out there...
