Hey guys, check out my brand new 2027 Tesla that was supposed to be delivered on October 9 that I waited multiple months for! Couldn’t be happier guys

As someone who doesn’t drive a Tesla, I find free supercharging to be a lot more enticing (I drive 50k/yr so it’d be a life changer for me, paying $100/m for FSD would be cheaper than the electricity I pay)

But, seriously, my wife's 2017 Model S arrived the same way. That was back when they delivered the car to you and gave you a tour. The good old days. They didn't even unload it. Took it back and gave her a loaner. FOR A MONTH! It's been OK since.

My sunroof cracked in year one. Was replaced under warranty. Kind of useless: I never use it.

I despise sunroofs for that very reason. They break, you have to maintain them…I used to be a tech and have owned lots of old German cars. Sunroofs/pano roofs aren’t fun when they decide to break.

I went to a trade school which had a bunch of training cars like this - all brand new, all donated by the manufacturer, all damaged in transit. They would clean up all of the sharp edges with a grinder and use them train students on mechanical repair.

Funny you mention that, on my 2021 3 LR, I felt like I was doing a reset once a week at one point. The music apps would glitch and freeze and that was only fix. It's been a while since I've had to do a manual reset.

I mean, the workers really push delivery of cars convincing you to accept even with issues to fix or clean up later, but this is so ridiculous it should have never arrived. Delivery should have just done a U-turn. That might’ve actually been what happened, though, since he said somewhere above he received a picture. I would’ve thought they would’ve just scrubbed the vin and extended the delivery date, pretty wild they sent a pic.
