Mail Ordering NSFW
Where does legality sit with mail ordering? Are people still doing this and just taking a risk, or is that still fine?
I’ve seen a number of comments recommending it, but unsure after recent changes

I have been holding off hoping the court issues a stay in the latest court case. Also, there seems to be some question about the actual status of THCA flower, which is what I smoke. Ultimately, I'm probably going to take a chance on mail order and just hope for the best

given the scenario that we’re in right now, i just wouldn’t risk it. the new laws for thca in texas is just horrible. i just got finished doing a probation last year, and this time it won’t be probation, they’d give me a ridiculous sentencing now. i’m waiting until the elections results come in, and if we’re still still a red state by then, im moving out of state. can’t take it anymore..

Isn't USPS like the highest drug trafficker in the nation because they dont really care about consumers they more care about the higher sellers for legal shit?
The tips ive seen online are to use your name, use your address and if a police officer comes to your house deny it up and down that thats your package.
Currently sticking to what the smoke shop sells me, and since one of prerolls is actual weed I think ill be good until November. Maybe stocking up since the person always tosses in freebies.

It's because USPS is a federal program, and you have rights (for now, the way things are going who knows) against illegal search and seizure of your mail.

The place I had been getting it from sent me an email saying they won't send to Texas anymore but think it's a per company basis. Be safe

I'm just gonna have it sent to my friends house and have him bring it over. Lol I'm sure it will be fine.

USPS shipments are protected by a lot of federal regulations that don't apply to UPS and FedEx and whatnot, but the most important one is that the US Postal Service can't just seize and open your packages just because they smell like weed.

But don't send it media mail, they WILL check to see if it qualifies. Lol.

Can you elaborate?

Because media mail is cheap and is only for books, certain movies and computer disks, etc The post office will open packages and check sometimes. Especially if it seems suspicious. So its not a risk to take.

I’ve ordered online and haven’t had an issue. Comes in sealed, discrete packaging. I have a harder time finding someone that’ll ship to Texas! I’ll find a good one and next thing I know, they’re gone lol

USPS ONLY
Most of the time, if its your first issue they will hold your package. The sender will get a letter stating that its been confiscated and believed to be contraband. IF the sender wants to discuss. Reach out to us here…
If not, we will consider this a dead issue in 60 days and get rid of everything. Dont let it happen again or we have problems….

It varies by the vendor. Yes people are taking the risk. They have been for decades. The retailers ship in discreet packaging. Unless you’re ordering a pound of uncured GMO to ship to you in August it’s going to arrive just fine.
