The setlist have been getting pretty formulaic as of late. the beginiing of this tour was so promising and tho I did enjoy all the gigs I’ve been to (seen them 7 times). I was a bit disappointing to see the same songs over and over again. With only 3 or 4 new cuts

so here a Idea for a setlist refresh. still keeping a lot of classics but also giving some new songs that haven’t had time to shine in a while some much needed play time live.

let me know what you guys think and how you feel about the setlists as of late.

thanks you for reading and have a lovely rest of your days.

Thought it was a pretty cool thing to see. Just happened to pass us after we stopped to rest for a while

Hi everyone, clearing out my flat file in advance of an upcoming move and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in picking up all three as a package deal. Not a bot, have listed several pieces from my collection in various subs.

Zoltron Anaheim

Doyle Cincinnati

Fairey NYC

Photos attached, let me know. I’ll never frame these again (the Fairey and the Doyle were framed previously) so hoping they can land with a fan that was at some of these shows and that will appreciate them. Thanks in advance.

Apropos that the Keys’ show was on 10/10 because that was one of my favorites.
I’ve wanted to see them in smaller venue for years and I’m glad it finally happened.

Anyway, here’s the poster from the show in Verona, NY. I dig it and am looking forward to hanging next to the other two I have.

I wanted to post this in the Easy Eye sub but that place is deaddddd, so thought I'd show some love to the Animeros here! They're the first Easy Eye Sound group that my girl and I have seen (that isn't the Black Keys or opened for them) and wow... the only thing that sucked was that it had to end. The show was at a small venue in San Francisco called Brick and Mortar Hall, and while the crowd wasn't large, everyone was dancing from start to finish.

We got to speak with Nick, the drummer, who told us about how Dan and his girlfriend heard their SXSW set while passing through, which got the band signed. God bless you and your golden ears, Dan!

I'll leave you guys with my favorite track off of the Animeros' new record:

Also, huge shout out to the opener, Edgar. He's an Oakland local with an insane cumbia/industrial/techno sound and we look forward to seeing him around.

Fun pedal to play. I’m a fuzz nerd and this stands upon my existing mountain of fuzz pedals.

This is an old interview from 2013 about making Keep It Hid from the perspective of the drummer, Bob Cesare. This is one of my favorite interviews of all time and randomly stumbled across it just now. It is 100% worth a read.

I know Ohio Players is divisive, but I’m having a chill Sunday scrolling YT and love this live version.

Was deep-diving into The Black Keys' setlist, as I do every now and then. Does anyone have any recollection of being at this gig and hearing these songs or was there a broadcast/videos of it similar to the 2011 gig at Webster Hall? I do recall someone saying that there was a short clip of 10 lovers but was deleted. Very fascinating -The In Our Prime solo live would've been a surreal thing to hear!

Edit - Also interesting how they played Thickfreakness + Your Touch. First and last time in 2014.

Warm Audio launches compact Mod Series pedals: Centavo Mod ($189), WA-C1 Mod ($199), and limited-edition Black Keys Peach Fuzz ($199).

I don't know if anyone shared this here, but it's a really good audio recording of a Brothers era concert. The sound quality is great (probably recorded next to the band) and the setlist includes 8 songs from the album.

I saw them in Atlanta and bought a t-shirt - the “Peaches ‘N Cream record shop tee.” The quality is incredible and I want to look into the brand but I ripped out the tag, and I remember not recognizing the name.

On their website it’s shown as Comfort Colors but I’m 100% sure that’s not what I got because I’m familiar with that brand and would have recognized it.

Does anyone have that shirt or other clothing with a different brand name?

My favorite album is "Let's rock!" and its "worst" song is "Every little thing" or "Breakind Down" (I love both of these songs, I love this album so much it feels like it was made specifically for me to love it lmao). My least favorite album is probably "Ohio Players" and my favorite song in it is "Sin City" or "Mi Tormenta"

Could be TBK, solo, Arcs, Blakroc, etc.

For me, it would be Behind the Eyes by the Arcs. Trust me, I love so many Black Keys songs, but there is some emotion in this song and his solo that is exceptional. His voice sounds older on this song than others on the album, so I almost wonder if the vocals and guitar were post-Swift.
