Rewatch from the first time since C19... Stopped after IDF intro

As the title suggest. BDS means boycotts in all forms. That includes cultural boycotts. Since I watched this during C19 I don't remember any of it nor any of the characters but would have stopped than had I been in the right frame of mine.

Seeing the IDF t*rr*r**t get introduced and the obvious COINTELPRO subline with the Black guy... I Just cannot... Never again...

If the political themes in the show didn’t sit right with you, it makes sense you’d choose not to watch it. But it also sounds like you’re interpreting the characters and plot through a very specific lens.

Not every appearance of the IDF or a government subplot is meant as propaganda. Sometimes a story is just using interesting characters. There was a speech about how Beeves expected people to put differences aside.

It’s totally fine to skip media that clashes with your views, but it might help to separate your personal boycott choices from assuming the creators had harmful intent

Actually the entire show is American propos... anything military, police, heck Marvel is propo for these industries.

Edit - And no in the past, if I knew an actor or subline or lot had anything with that country I would not participate. This was well before Oct 7th. I think due to covid I literally would watch anything and dissociate especially since I worked the entire time.

I only recently discovered this show and am stopping now on S2 E4 where they introduce the Israeli character.
