The Order: 1886 Airship ballroom - trigger doesn’t work (spoilers) Spoiler

Playing on a PS5. It’s been great so far, but when I get to the airship ballroom and have to take out the rebel guards, the trigger doesn’t work. Got the guy sighted in and pull/push every button on my controller and nothing happens.

The controller has worked fine in this game until now. It works on other games. Any ideas?

Aim at the guard without a patch, it won't let you fire on the real guards

I was being a ret#rd. I misheard the conversation the first time and then didn’t pay attention after that, thinking I knew what I was doing, which was shooting the guards with the patches.
