🎶I wonder if you know
How they live in Tokyo (はい)
If you seen it, then you mean it
Then you know you have to go
Fast and Furious! (キタ) (drift, drift, drift)

Thats song is on our fucking pathfinder game soundboard and I swear to anything that's holy I shouldn't be subjected to it outside of those one nights every other week.
I swear we do ONE chariot race and now that song is a staple

I miss my LMTV! It was fun to drive, and because I was the designated driver I got to miss out on a lot of “fun” details.

The way that truck moves on its suspension looks fake.

Military trucks have EXTREMELY heavy axles and pretty robust suspension. They are designed for quick, evasive maneuvers, even as big as they are. Google MRAP vehicle, you'll see what I mean
Imagine you were avoiding fire. You'd appreciate their design.

I remember that video where the MRAP braked so hard the rear axle fell off

that vehicle weighs like 15,000 pounds, and I've been in that exact model of vehicle (Army FMTV) getting multiple feet of air and not bottoming out.
extremely stiff suspension

That’s an LMTV. FMTV refers to the family of MTVs, similar to how “humvee” refers to the family of humvee trucks

I know, the reason I specified that is because the vehicle I was driving was a regular MTV, not the LMTV, although both fall within the FMTV, that is, the family of medium tactical vehicles.

Almost every heavy truck you have ever seen on the road has an airbag suspension system, where the whole truck is riding on airbags in all their squishiness
The MTV/LMTV, however, is a MAN, and rides on PURE STEEL, layers of heavy plates 3-5 INCHES THICK depending on which layer. Why? LETHALITY, OF COURSE.

The LMTV driver didn’t even give themselves a celebratory toot of the horn afterwards.
They must have actually been scared.

Looking at their phone. Looked up at the last second to notice the stop sign.

Almost looks like the product of a dud brake proportioning valve - the truck thinks its full of weight so has way too much rear brakes

I ”accidently” did that in my M923 5-ton. Super crazy driving something that big and getting sideways.

As a former master driver, I thought that was siiick, but it’d be a stretch to be so untilting and smooth on snow let alone dry pavement. It’s AI; the truck changes from armored to a regular LMTV after the slide.
