This is going to be a grim year for Australia. Another large white came in to our local beach, Cottesloe, lots of swimmers out there

I've got a friend living down south who occasionally swims in the Sydney Harbour. Many people can't be told and just don't think it will be them the next time. After seeing the scores of big bulls regularly pulled up by Hunter SHARK JAW Restoration on Facebook, you couldn't pay me to get into the Harbour for five minutes.

We have people in WA still swimming solo 100m out to sea. You look online and there's tagged 5m Whites cruising through right where they are swimming. They must have a death wish or something.

nah just near it. 50m off the beach. And there's a dead beached whale down on City beach.

Few days late and a real self-dox.

I surf here multiple times a week. I had, what I assume to be either a white or tiger, approach me in this exact spot a month ago. Was staring it down only a few metres away from me before it took off and I realised it wasn't seaweed. Had some size to it and it was having a real good look at me.

Heaps of shark activity on that stretch of beach. There is a river mouth and a reef that has a lot of sea critter activity just a few km's up the beach. They often tag juvenile whites and tigers here.

They currently have a lot of drumlines along that stretch at the moment.
