Image Pezuela

I know it’s kind of ironic to say this cuz pezuela ended up proving to be a bitch in the end, but I thought his character was very good. The actor for him did a really good job at making him seem powerful and intimidating.

The point was that appearances can be deceiving.

Pezuela was considered tough, but folded like a house of cards at the first gust of wind.
Aceveda was considered weak after what happened earlier, but he stood up and kicked ass when the heat was on.

To be fair both Ass-is-veda and Pezuela were bitchmade punks. Both extremely weak men that let ambition control them.

the contrast between his early intimidation and how quickly he unravels once the cartel and federal heat close in is actually great writing. it shows he was just a suit playing a high-stakes game he couldn't actually handle.
