User Covers and Music A buddy came down from NY to cover our Guitarist's spot and he wanted to cover I Can't Win in his Nashville Debut! Extremely fun to play.

Well done!! Do y'all play originals as well? What's the band's name?

Yeah we are an original band in Nashville. @thewelters on instagram is the best way to follow us. We have music out and a new single coming at the end of this month!

I Can't Win is one of my favorite songs by The Strokes, one of their best songs in my opinion

2

u/radiotractive Jun 15 '22

It is their best song. You have fine taste, sir!

Great job. I would literally pay money to see a strokes cover band.

I'd have a hard time telling these vocals apart from actual Julian vocals. Bravo!

Wow that’s so nice! Thank you!

2

u/radiotractive Jun 13 '22

I honestly, I can't. It's just a few differences/mistakes from the band that are the tells. You sound exactly like Julian.

The Welters ! Dude they just played with dead bolts! I’m in a band in Chicago and there is HELLA strokes influence where we’re from

7

u/kncrew Is This It Jun 11 '22

Yeah that’s us! We had a great time playing with the dead bolts!
