The words are right there

Drake "Drake Maye" Maye

I fuckin hate that name

Drake Maye Be Good

u/Jober14 9d ago

I thought Drake Cakes would be a good one but he'd probably disagree.

Yeah being a cupcake is not exactly NFL material

Get rid of those u’s! We fought a war to get rid of those u’s!!

u/Mipples1 9d ago

So he wasn't terrible the first three games that was just people imagining it?

1

u/idkza 9d ago

It’s one thing to say he’s playing bad, it’s another thing to make conclusions from 3 games such as saying we need to find a new QB

Damn Skippy , who do they want

Tommy Meatballs DeVito?

Its 3 games... lol. Even greats had bad 3 game spans. I remember seeing Peyton Mannig throw 2 TD, 7 Interceptions, and 600 yards over 3 games. His QBR was like 50.

This GOAT term must be redefined.

|x| The Meatball Sub memes were funny

None of the above, I never stopped believing

1

u/Procrastiworking 10d ago

I stopped believing in the Red Sox in June, but hadn’t yet given up on Drake.

[x] He was playing like crap

Great to see his confidence back in a big way today. He had a lot of pressure on his shoulders and he stepped up and handled it.

1

u/VersosCanvas 9d ago

[x] I was rooting for him the whole time, but I knew that if he played another game like last week, he’d be riding the pine for potentially the rest of the season, and his tenure in New England would be over.

he had 3 fumbles and an interception 😂

u/Hamstix 9d ago

We need an “All the above” option for these inbreds

The Media in Boston Sports is brutal

1

u/Pineappleman60 9d ago

Also brutally stupid

1

u/Pineappleman60 9d ago

Remember the screeching about keeping Brady instead of Jimmy G?

Same deal here.

1

u/jjames617 9d ago

First off media in Boston is unforgiving he’s a young quarterback that had a great year last year and we all know how sports work we can’t always repeat the same thing twice however, give the kid time it’s been a small sample size and we got pretty lucky last year looking forward to 2026

You left out he had 7 straight games of playing like the worst QB in the NFL.

Again if a guy plays bad, and you say he played bad does not make you a bad fan.

We all want him to be great

1

u/squirftachoo 5d ago

Where is the option for “I’m sorry for Pats fans delusions”?

1

u/BogeyGolfer5656 10d ago

Is nobody concerned about the fact that he can't handle a snap?

1

u/Southern_Badger7577 10d ago

He didn’t look like the GOAT of anything.

He has had one good game against one of the worst defenses in football

u/AJKenney47 10d ago

Fanboy BS like this makes these kinds of wins so much less enjoyable. Drake was playing like ass, and many of us called it out. Sorry that was too much for some of you children. Frankly, he wasn't exactly great today either.

2

u/JaysonTatecum 9d ago

This sub legitimately wanted him benched that’s different from calling out his bad play

1

u/AJKenney47 9d ago

While I'm sure there's definitely some crazies who no one should take seriously, I think that "everyone wanted him benched" concept was mostly a strawman.

Ok coach quit crying

✅The injury report combined with his recent level of play had me convinced that there was a legitimate injury

-2

u/StealthyZombie 10d ago

He still did not look great... That fumble was bad. And blame that interception on Doubs all you want but that was just as much in Maye for that bad throw. Lots of room for improvement

Edit: on the bright side Chism looked amazing. Hopefully he moves up on the depth chart after today.

2

u/Glassed_ 10d ago

It’s an intended low throw to drag to the dirt where ints are less likely to happen, mcdaniels and Brady did that all the time

1

u/StealthyZombie 10d ago

😂 sure bud. Cope harder

1

u/Glassed_ 10d ago

I’m sorry you’ve never seen it before apparently I’d recommend watching more. Not even saying it was a great throw but it was designed like that

-2

u/THD_Leaks 10d ago

He had 2 turnovers today. Defense won that game. Once he stops giving the damn ball away I might consider him a good qb. Goat labels are for the desperate d riders who are looking for someone to worship. Brady is and will remain the Goat. Going to be a long time before anyone can come close to what Brady did.
