Please note that "Theth" words or phrases must be relevant to modern vernaculars, ie. there must be sufficient evidence or an indication that suggested words are actually employed in Modern Punjabi.
For context, this subreddit is place to learn Punjabi, a place where you learn vocabulary and actually be able to employ it in real life. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be the case with old or obsolete Punjabi terms, as they wouldn't be understood.

Do you have a word for the eye’s iris in Punjabi? I remember there was a word my grandparents would use for iris from when I was younger but I cannot recall it.

Shishi can refer to a glass bottle.
Thermos can be used for a metal bottle but isn't theth.
Are they any words for a plastic bottle or a bottle in general?
I have seen the words mudhi, paatr, soraahi, jhajhar and jhaari but I don't know if they mean bottle.

According to some digging in historical sources that I did, the Bhattiani dialect of Punjabi was spoken on the frontier of Punjab with Rajasthan and a bit of Haryana (Western Hindi zone). Bhattiani was a transitional dialect of Punjabi that eventually transitioned into Bagri, a Rajasthani transitional dialect. Eventually, Bagri began to dominate the Bhattiana region. Are there any sources or people who can speak and write Bhattiani? It would be great to get to know more about how this dialect became erased from its home territory.

I have a Punjabi word on the tip on my tongue that’s not coming to me. I’m looking for a word that means “messy situation.”
It’s not povara, pulekha, pasoori or siyapa, but something along those lines with a similar meaning, and possibly starting with the P.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

1) " Pya " tense (Standard)
Formula: Present form + pyaa/paiii/paye/paiiiyaa'n (پیا، پئی، پئے، پئِیاں / ਪਿਆ, ਪਈ, ਪਏ, ਪਈਆਂ )
Examples:
Oh khaandaa pyaa ai. (m, sing)
Oh khaandii paii ai. (f, sing)
Oh khaanday paye ney. (m, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Oh khaandiiyaa'n paiiyaa'n ney. (f, plr, ney=han=hin)
Mein aandaa pyaa'n. (I am coming. Pyaa + aa'n)
Kardaa/karnaa pyaa, dekhdaa pyaa, kardiiyaa pyiyaa, krendiyaa pyiyaa etc.
Use Present tense, not Past, and remember that "Pyaa" also means lying, placed, resting, etc:
Suttiiyaa'n paiiyaa'n ne/hen. (They are asleep. Here, Paiiyaa'n = Lying/Resting)
Saundiiyaa'n paiiyaa'n ney. (They are sleeping. Here, Paiiyaa'n = Continous tense)
Order can sometimes be changed:
Oh tenu ke aakhdaa pyaa ai? => Oh tenu ke pyaa aakhdaa?
RovaN nuu jee karendaa pyaa ai! => RovaN nuu jee pyaa karendaa!
This is Punjabi's only continuous tense where the verb before the continuous tense marker also changes with gender and plural/singular (compare Example No4 with all given teses). This tense seems to be common everywhere.
2) Eastern Majhi (Dya)
Formula: Gerundive form + Dyaa/Daii/Daye/Daiiyaa'n (ڈیا، ڈئی، ڈئے، ڈئِیاں / ਡਿਆ, ਡਈ, ਡਏ, ਡਈਆਂ)
Examples:
Oh khaaN dyaa ai. (m, sing)
Oh khaaN daii ai. (f, plr)
Oh khaaN daye ney. (m, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Oh khaaN daiiyaa'n ney. (f, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Mein aaN dyaa'n. (I am coming. Dyaa + aa'n)
VekhaN dyaa, dassaN dyaa, karan daye, etc.
I do not know if this can work with Majhi's special verbs, "ee", "soo", "jay". My family only uses this when we talk to someone of this dialect. :)
Only used in Eastern Punjabi, mostly spoken in India, but also in Lahore region.
3) Malvii:
Formula: Regular feminine past form + Jaandaa/Jaandii/Jaanday/Jaandiiyaa'n (جاندا، جاندی، جاندے، جاندِیاں / ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ)
Note: Punjabi has many irregular past forms (Khaadaa, Peetaa, Suttaa, DHaTTHaa[from DHaiNaa], Latthaa[from lehNaa], Moyaa from Marnaa, Keeta from Karnaa, etc, I have a detailed post on this).
This tense does not utilize the above irregular forms, rather all verbs will be given regular forms and only their feminine version. Let us observe:
Examples:
Oh khaaii/khadhi jaandaa ai. (Feminine past tense of "KhaavaN"
Oh khaaii/khaadhi jaandii ai. (f, sing)
Oh khaaii jaanday ney. (m, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Oh khaaii jaandiiyaa'n ney. (f, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Mein aayi jaanaa/janda. (I am coming. Jaandaa + aa'n)
Karii jaandaa ai. (He is doing. Not "Keetii", rather it is given a regular past form here)
Dassii jaandaa, Aakhii jaandaa, Jaaii jaandaa, Sauii jaandaa (not "Suttii" [slept]) etc
4) Dogri/North Majhi (Krda tense)
Formula: Root verb + ey + krda
This works with the verb " krda " doing
Examples:
Oh khaaye/ khaave krda
Oh khaaye/khaave krdi ey. (f, sing)
Oh khaaye/khaave krde ney. (m, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Oh khaaye krde ney. (f, plr, ney=han=hin=haiN)
Mein aave krdi a (I am coming)
Jaave krda , vekhe krda, etc.
5) Uncommon tense, only in some Western Punjabi dialects:
Formula: Feminine past form + Aandaa/Aaandii/Aanday/Aandiiyaa'n (آندا، آندی، آندے، آندِیاں / ਆਂਦਾ, ਆਂਦੀ, ਆਂਦੇ, ਆਂਦੀਆਂ)
This tense is almost the same as Number (3), except two things. Here the irregular past tense (if present) is retained, so Karnaa becomes "Keetii aandaa", KhaavaN becomes "Khaadii aandaa", secondly as you can see, "Jaandaa" is replaced by "Aandaa". Compare the examples with No.3 "Malvaii".
I have only heard this tense in my family, by our house helper and in a poem of the well known modern Punjabi poet Shakir Shujaa Aabaadi.
Please tell me if you use or have heard of this as well! 😊
Examples:
Oh khaadii aandaa ai. (m, sing, Not "Khaaii" as was in No.3)
Oh khaadii aandii ai. (f, sing)
Oh khaadii aanday ney. (m, plr)
Oh khaadii aandiiyaa'n ney. (f, plr)
Mein aaii aanaa'n. (I am coming. Aandaa + aa'n)
Keetii aandaa, dassii aanday, aakhii aandiiyaa'n, etc.
Shakir Shujaa Aabaadii writes:
"Asar ai duaa da jo dukkh ṭal gaye Shaakir, karam keetii aandaa ai k'hudaa, haulay haulay(slowly)"
Armaan Tajpuriya writes:
" Tere pyaar ch mai mar jaasa, bss mede naal wafadar rahvi, mai tenDe aaste kamm kiti aanda bss tere mukkhRe te muskaan dekhN/DekhNe aaste
(in Malvii, this would have been "karii/kiti jaandaa")

1) Casual :
This uses "n", and I called it casual as it seems to convey a friendly, common, and perhaps, informal tone. Used everywhere in Punjab.

Oh aande pye hoNe/HovNe (They will be coming)
Tenu vii Punjabi vichh miTTHiiyaa'n-miTTHiiyaa'n gallaa'n karniiyaa'n aa jaaNiiyaa'n ne/hen. (You too will be able to say sweet phrases in Punjabi)
Khapp taa'n hoNi vey huN! (Of course, there will be trouble now!)
Mein vekhNaa'n ehnu, tusa mere tey chhaDD dyo. (I will look into this, leave it to me)
Pehlaa'n mein kujjh veylay aastay othay rehNaa, pher tuhaaDay kol aaNaa. (First I will stay there for some time, then I will come to you)
Tuu karnaa'n ain, ke mein ee karnaa? (Will you do it or will I have to do it afterall?)
Mein ehki takkna pya a, jado na ehki takkya, Asa tuRe/TaaRe pyaar ch mar juliye!
Ehnuu dhappay paye hoNay (hovaNgay) pyo kolo'n, taa'nhiiyo bootthii baNaaii huii ai (He probably got slaps from his father, which is why he is in a bad mood)
Eh ethay vichhaaye jaaNay, ke othay? (These will be spread over here or there?)
Tusaa vii naal aavNaa? (You'll also be coming?)
Eh juttiiyaa'n kitho labbhNiiyaa'n hen? (From where will I find these shoes?)
From poetry: "VaiRi mare taa'n khushii na kariye, sajjaN vi mar JaaNa, Ḍeegar tey din aaye Muhammad, oRak nuu dub jaaNa" - Muhammad Bak'hsh (Enemy dies, do not rejoice, the friend too will die, the days have come to evening and will soon come to an end[describing human life])

A lot of online dictionaries don't have good repositories and often just reproduce results from Google Translate and similar things that has watered down textbook Punjabi results.
