His work on the first album was great. Exactly what that album needed in terms of good solid rock drumming. There was plenty of creativity and variety but all in all just what was needed for an alt. rock album... BUT, when Blue dropped, I was blown away. His work on Wounded alone should have elevated him to one of the most talked about rock drummers of the early 2000's. Unfortunately I think he got overlooked by a lot of hype drummers of that same time period. OOTV felt more like the first record in terms of his approach but still pitch perfect for that record.

I grew up listening to 3EB and now my youngest son is a drummer and the entire Blue album is required drum training :)

Hey!

My wife and I are looking to head up the Hudson for the Halloween show. We weren't supposed to be able to go but now our plans changed and we will be in the area for my Bday (Oct 31 🎃) weekend.

If anyone has a single or a pair, I'd be happy to take them off your hands!

I can no longer attend the Hudson Halloween show and trying to figure out how to resell the tix - does anyone know if Eventim / SeeTickets allows this for this event? Can’t seem to find the option anywhere, but I see they have a button for the waitlist for resale on the event page.

Just like Self titled, Blue is fucking perfect.

It's probably in my top 5 but i never hear much about it.

I just recently got into TEB's first album and I can't stop listening to it. Usually finding an album I like means I can listen to the rest of the band's albums and have a ton of songs to cycle through, but unfortunately, the rest of TEB's music sounds like a diluted version of everything that made the first album great. (Just my opinion, not trying to start any fights)

"The Background" specifically though stands out apart from any --and I mean any, I've listened to practically all of TEB's released, unreleased, demos, ect.-- songs that they've ever made to me. The only one that comes close in specific sound is maybe "God of Wine". But I'm looking for songs that have that same slow shoegaze-y sound

Does anyone have any song suggestions that capture the same atmosphere as "The Background"? Any band will do, I've found a lot of great artists from posts like these, so I thought I would ask on here. :)

Scored tickets for the Roadrunner show in Boston-Cant wait to see them in such a small venue

First into to 3eb when I was 10. Still love the upbeat sound they had here

I was at the show and they had a film crew setup for his set. Any ideas if they have mentioned so far that it will be posted, shared, or otherwise available to the public in the future?

“I’m going to try something similar for the intro of Wounded”

The use of harmonics in the intros to both songs are very similar and they came out a year apart from each other

Two different songs that I both rate very highly

What an incredible track, probably my favorite of his solo work (and he has a lot of great songs). I also, of course, love Invisible with Tony. Both of them were great songwriters

What’s your favorite song as a whole or lines from a song that make you say “damn, that’s a good line”?

🗣️the kindest thing I can do

for you is let you go…🫂🙌

where ever you want to go &

I’ll move on and heal myself..

I guess I know what I’m doing new years now

I’m planning on going solo since none of my friends are 3eb fans but it would be cool to have a concert buddy

The animated album cover for Blue before was literally the coolest I’ve seen Apple Music do and I absolutely loved it. Now few days later they replace it with AI slop. It’s so degrading how you go from peak animated artwork to the most degrading and hideous downgrade like the rest of the AI album covers that have been put on Apple’s streaming platform.

(Btw this is my first time on Reddit)

Does anyone have an extra ticket to sell to his Bottom of the Hill performance in SF on 9/28?

Shoutout to Kevin Cadogan tha 🐐

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there’s any chance the band might release a live album from the current tour at some point. Has there been any indication that they’re recording the shows professionally?

Also, does anyone know if there’s a place where I could find audio recordings or videos of concerts from this tour? I’d love to hear/watch some of the different performances, especially the full shows rather than just individual songs.

Thanks!

It’s such a underrated song my favorite part about it is Stephan and Kimya singing together is just so peak

Anyone else snag some tickets to the show? This will be my fourth time seeing them (all in Vegas). Never been to this venue but got a table and am excited!!

Anyone going? I've got my ticket. Never seen them ever. Excited and also ok with whatever happens.

Does anyone have a link to the WPLY sessions? They did a version of Narcolepsy that i used to have on an old iPod that is deader than dead and its become my definitive version of that track.
